5:46 minutes in, and you gave me a lot of what I needed. I can build chords all day my arrangements and everything else is solid I just have a hard time with Sampling and MPC beats

There's soooooo many quality sounds. I normally say invest in software over kits but 9 dollars for 9 legit kits. I had to get that too. Lol

But, for a more realistic tape or vinyl like sound in thus case, maybe could be a good idea to Apple that lofi effect and render the piano and use it. It would make the changes sound equal on each piano hit...

Appreciate the shout-out and above all thanks for the video... As you know, I had got the 9 for 9 kit.. I been up for 2 days no sleep.. made a lot of beats and now I'm just stuck on trying to press it all down and exporting my song.. (on MPC Beats) If I have a request for a vid.... hmm.. can you tell me about any other plug- in that does what Kyle's "DRIP" plug-in does with out me having to pay $50 for it? Is that a good price? (I see you didn't get the ART WORK from none of those kits either...smh..so sad)
I haven't checked out the drip plugin yet. I've seen a bunch of people use it and it sounds dope. Hopefully sumn comes out soon to rival it tho. I saw busyworksbeats was working on plugins that do similar things to the drip.

I love your videos very simplified and down to Earth. Question for you in relation to this video. What about with samples that come with mpc beats because I want to trim up a melody loop that comes with the software but when I grab and drag it doesn't work. Is it done differently when it's not a 3rd party sample?

how do you sample directly into the software like a real mpc i tried with my interface but nothing came through
Do you have any tutorial on mapping? My mpc software doesn't pick up my mpd226 and I'm trying to set it as the controller. Not sure if me having ableton live, a novation keyboard, and an rc 505 all plugged in has an impact on my inability to control mpc from the pad. Also open to tutor sessions if you offer those.
I can chop samples but my mpk mk2 cant assign them properly to buttons in mpc beats

He what If you Double tap a sample from your folder from your desktop and it doesn't move over to the Sample location?
Great tutorial. But my slices wont release when I press another pad, it keeps playing the sound of the previous slice until the end of the slice
maybe a dumb question but can you use this DAW with computer keyboard, i mean play pads by pressing keys? still saving for the actual hardware sampler :(

can you export each slice from a sample as its own wav-i know you can save project and look it up and rename but is that the only way thanks
what if you record/sample in through the audio, how can i edit it onto a pad (into a program) from there? - it says i cant edit audio
I'm stuck after the "export to a new pad program", I have the sample with the four squares and click on it, but then it doesn't load it into the track so I can't record it, tried clicking it a bunch of times with no luck

yes. Thats also called velocity. I believe you go to grid then velocity should be down there
