When I export the stems, I get each sound in its own track, but if I were to use MPC Beats as a plugin, I would only be able to manipulate the entire song (master channel) in Ableton. I really like to use Ableton fx and have a lot more control if each sound is on a separate track :)

I kept hiding my pads because I like to trigger them with my keyboard. The shortcut to hide/show your pads on screen is Shift-F. Its called the bottom panel. You can also find the shortcut next to the midi keyboard symbol at the middle bottom left part of the screen.
Edit - sequence - double length
that will save some people time as well

This program has been the most frustrating learning experience of my life to date. This video was extremely helpful. But I'm still struggling as my "media browser" section just comes up blank and pulls up nothing I search.
The only thing it will pull up is templates in the projects section.

the keyboard function can only work when you click the keys icon under the tracks area. I have the Akai MPK mini and i was trying to get that to work. hope this helps

Thanks! Glad I could help! If you go to file ->save or save as you can save the project as an MPC beats file. I prefer to export my beat into stems so that I can further process it in my main DAW, Ableton Live.
