- A MPC beats tutorial video about how to chop up samples. MPC Beats is a free DAW for both Windows and Mac that comes with a lot of sounds! I demonstrate step by step the beat making process so you can learn from beginning to end. I use the AKAI MPK mini MK2 as my MIDI controller of choice (which I bought from Sweetwater). Does this program have a pitch detector like FL studios?
@@BRUTHAWAR you mean like auto-tune? No but there is a pitch shifter plugin.
@@AveMcree No. I mean like a way to detct the pitch (notes) of a sample . FL studio & logic have different versions of that.

So you had to ENABLE it! Damn spent way too many hours trying to figure out why i couldn’t use the pads to chop the samples like the guy did in the official Akai MPC Beats tutorial. Thnks!

hey, thanks a ton for this one, may be continuing this if we can know how to record samples, layer them, editing them like using lfo (if there is one) or effects and then mapping to the pads or keys, also how to just save them as samples to use in other programes. waiting for others response and ur next video on this , see you.

@ the 8 min section, I believe you can go to program editor after you chop the samples, choose all and time warp the samples in one go.
