I have just received one of these as a present and have never used one before. It may be a silly question, but I assume you insert an SD card underneath near the 2 small antennas?? It must be a micro SD card - but what type and once inserted, how do you get it out?? Thanks again for a great video which covers all the points the other reviewers missed or assumed were obvious.

Hello, I dont know why but my recoreded videos are getting saved in iphone 6 in fast forward speed. The video recording is not smooth, it feels like slideshow of pictures. What could be the reason? is it necessary to use SD card?
I heard you say that it has brushed motors where others have said that it has brushless motors. How do I find out what type of motors this drone has?
Hey, I just bought the drone. However it doesn't record anything on the SD card. Photos are saved in the phone, but not the videos. Could you give my any tips about that? The card is class 10, but not Fat32formatted.

They are both great, but this one takes a microSD card which gives it a slight edge since it will store the video at a smoother frame rate (without having lag or frame skips due to streaming the video through the cell phone)…
@@rx344 I was on the fence between this and the SG907 as well. I was concerned about the skipping in video on the SG907 due to no SD card. I'm now leaning towards the E520S as my first drone. Thanks!
Why does other videos say spin counter clockwise and the manual says this aswell and also nose down after and clockwise? Dies it really matter if you do not do as the manual says it will this mess up the calibration

Hi, thanks a lot for your great review. It seems you have a 5G 1080P version. What do you think about a 5G 4K version? how much difference between them?
From what I’ve heard and seen, it is also very good and the main difference is that the resolution is higher (at 4K) and so the image quality is a bit sharper and clearer… The only catch to this is that you will need a high speed (U3, V30) SD card (which tends to be a little more expensive and harder to find) and the video files may be a bit larger and more difficult to work with on older devices...
As far as I know, human cannot really see difference between 1080p or 4K or higher than that so..
@@albinocake 4k is literally 4x more pixels, how can you not see the difference?( if your monitor supports 4k, then you will see the difference )
I didn't get to watch the whole video but is that camera adjustable because the last frame when you first took off I know it is that the camera was like looking down and looking out and it made the earth look round and at 22:49 The Horizon looks flat that's because the camera is pointed straight out and I can see your props pinning I just asked because I noticed when I tilt my camera on my drone I don't see my propellers and then when I got my camera going straight out I see my propeller spinning
Yeah the final flight video is composed of two parts, an early flight (in the morning with the camera facing somewhat down and not showing the propellers) and then edited-in is an early evening flight (with the camera tilted somewhat upwards where you can see the propellers)… That is why the first part of the flight footage is bright with no propellers, while the second half is dark with the propellers visible…

I have some issues, It flyes very well two or three minutes and them , with any particular reason, It falls down... The battery is ok 80%
Great video! Banggood had a sale on the E520S 5G/4k with 2 batteries for only $93 ! Bought it 2 weeks ago, so I'm still waiting. Any info on hacking the batteries up to a couple of 18650 (3.7Volts x2) higher capacity batteries for longer flight times ?
UPDATE: Well...2 1/2 months now, and still no drone. Banggood has really screwed me on a couple of orders. This drone is one of the higher dollar problems though.

I can’t say for sure, but I imagine that it probably might (as it is about the same size and dimensions & its controller is almost identical)...

Do you have calibrate the drone every time you fly it ?
Not exactly, for some reason I don't "have" to but it is recommended or it won't fly as well, the calibration process doesn't take long
Wow! What a great video, Don't know which one to get the E520s or E511s ? I like the E520s. Can you help me make up my mind.
In summary:
* E511S: 1080p (remote tilting) camera
* E520S: 4K (non-tilting) camera
Everything else is about the same. If being able to move the camera (by remote) is more important than having 4K, then the E511S is the one to choose.
I got the E511s it comes in tomorrow 9/12 , Thank you for your help. I'm still practicing with the emotion blade 720 which is the same as 58 X Pro.

As far as I know, Banggood is the only one that sells Eachine drones (such as the E511S and E520S), so perhaps what you saw on Amazon is a similar drone that probably has that feature…

Yes it will save the video to your phone.

You do not need the app, but it is highly recommended, without the app you can not tell how many satellites are detected and you should only fly with at least 7 satellites detected and the app offers FPV which makes flying much more fun

The price is around 80-100 USD and it is recommended to use a newer, more powerful Android phone if possible (perhaps something released within the last couple of years or so)...

I'm not the youtuber, but I'll answer, I think you were trying to ask about if you need an SD card, No you don't if you want you can record straight from the app but it won't be as clear and smooth

Well you can use VR goggles (where you insert your cell phone into). They are inexpensive and fairly common to find these days… You would simply enter into VR mode (within the drone’s app), then insert the phone into the VR goggles, and then you can fly FPV style…
@@rx344 thank you man! I never thought there could be an alternative to those expensive VR goggles, i really wanted an fpv experience. It's my first time buying this drone and hopefully it will be delivered this week.
For close range flying, it should be ok, but the experience with true FPV goggles is definitely better… There are some inexpensive goggles out there that are very good, but you would need a drone that has 5.8 GHz video frequency...

At 4k you really should be using a u3 card I would suggest getting one for 1080 although it's not really required as for card size I wouldn't go over 32 gigabytes on these drones I have seen people having problems with cards over that size on budget and beginner drones so I just don't go over that size to avoid video issues.
