Eastleigh Works Centerary 1909 - 2009

Eastleigh Works celebrate a huge occasion as they started up in 1909 & now celebrating the 100th year of opening! Many more years to come im sure :)
On display were some of the well known Steam & Diesel locomotives such as Class 20s,37s,45,47s,50s,55,66s and many more..
The weather played a fantastic part in everyone of those who attended the Open day as the sun was basking down on not only themselves but on the locos which stood before them.

100 stars Zac, & a fav video too. Wish I could of made it down there, as it sure looked a great event. Like the last choice of loco....Sing my beauty!! Wonder if Zontar was lurking around that Napier beastie?? Now that Load haul 50, very different. That has to be one for Hornby to do. Now i've seen it in your video I really like it. Very well put together here. The first shot of the four diesels in line I did similar to yours, but I didnt add it as it was a 'back up' shot incase if it was to be needed. It was very interesting to see 50135 in Load Haul livery, any idea why its in LH livery?
