Welcome to our Cricut Maker Dollhouse Miniature Chest of Drawers Tutorial!
As with all our projects the colours and finishing details are completely customisable to your choice, as is the scale, enabling you to create a 1/12th or 1/24th scale miniature at the press of a button! (Please note: You will need to use thinner materials or less layers for 1/24th creations or smaller to keep them true to scale - it is also entirely possible to scale the files up to 1/6 just make sure to use slightly thicker materials)

Excellent tutorial ! You did an amazing job. This is the first one of your tutorials that I have watched. now I can't wait to see more.
I have a question.can I use a different Circut machine? I have Cricut explore air. I know my machine can cut just about any material including chipboard. So I am so hoping I will be able to use it for your projects. Thanks for a wonderful project tutorial.

Brenda Chauvin Hi and thank you for your kind comment lovely 😍 and yes you will be able to use your Explore Air for a lot of the projects, you can swap out the mat board and cut more layers of kraftboard to get the same depth, then glue them together and press with a weight - I do this method in several of my videos, checkout the Rocking Chair video and you’ll see what I mean 👍🏻😁 these machines are so versatile you’ll soon get the hang of what works best for the effect you are after - always message me directly via Facebook if you get stuck on something 💖✨✨✨

Hi fantastic tutorial, going to buy your physical book and save for the cricut, what paints are you using?

Thank you so much 🙏🏻🤩 I just use a basic brand white gesso and acrylic paints - some cheap craft store ones and some Daler & Rowney, it just depends what colour I want and what comes to hand first, nothing fancy or high end 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

How good are the Cricut blades? I peoples milage may vary. I would like to use the Cricut maker to make dollhouse furniture using Basswood.

Ian Scott well I’m still using the blades that I got with the machine, I’ve had it since Dec ‘19 and I’ve cut a fair few files as you can imagine 😉 I have used it to cut basswood which seems softer then the matboard I use (it certainly takes less passes to cut the basswood) and I’m on my second lot of mats now, so I think if you look after them they last quite well 👍🏻
