  • Welcome to our Cricut Maker Dollhouse Miniature Double Wardrobe Tutorial!
    As with all our projects the colours and finishing details are completely customisable to your choice, as is the scale, enabling you to create a 1/12th or 1/24th scale miniature at the press of a button! (Please note: You will need to use thinner materials or less layers for 1/24th creations or smaller to keep them true to scale - it is also entirely possible to scale the files up to 1/6 just make sure to use slightly thicker materials).
    In our tutorials, you can create alongside of us, or have a quick play through the whole video to see where we are heading before you start.

    I know this is a dumb question, but new to miniatures and Cricut. Where do you get the patterns for these projects? Please don't judge me - it seems like you all know - but I can't figure it out.

    Can you please tell me where you bought your decals? Or did you make it?

    • @SpellboundMiniatures
      @SpellboundMiniatures  Před rokem

      Hi Veronica I printed them myself, got clear waterslide sheets from Amazon, printed them on an inkjet home printer and then sprayed a couple of coats of clear laquer on them and let them dry for 24 hours - it’s worth the extra steps to print your own because you can create whatever design you want 🤩👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    How do you design your projects? I jiust go t a Maker but have cut out my minis from basswood and a knife. Love the idea that My maker will do this.

    • @SpellboundMiniatures
      @SpellboundMiniatures  Před 4 lety

      Phrarama I design my projects in Inkscape and basically it’s like un-building a piece of furniture in your head, break it down into its most basic pieces, draw shapes that recreate those pieces and pay attention to the thickness of the material that you want to use as you will need to allow for that in your measurements - start with something simple like a bookshelf and use an inexpensive material and get experimenting 😉😁👍🏻

    thanks for your video. But what is craft board? Can you use hot press board? How thick is your craft board?

    • @SpellboundMiniatures
      @SpellboundMiniatures  Před 4 lety +2

      Hi it is Cricut brand Kraftboard and it’s just under 1mm thick, you can get it on Amazon and in local craft stores 👍🏻 you could use any cardstock or thin board you like lovely, just make sure it’s the right depth visually for the effect you want 😁

    When you spray or paint, how does that impact the door hinges?

  • @maneeratromtrairat174
    @maneeratromtrairat174 Před 3 lety

    I'm sorry to ask . When the piece came of the machine , how it look like ? Why the door piece has inner square in it ? I use other machine so I have never cut like you did or you use embros tool .

    • @SpellboundMiniatures
      @SpellboundMiniatures  Před 3 lety

      Hi I don’t quite understand your question, the pieces will cut as per which pieces of the SVG file you decide to use, so you need to decide which pieces and designs you want (you will need to duplicate or remove the respective elements of the SVG - ie plain or panelled door frames 👍🏻) it is up to you with SVG how you cut them, send me a message via messenger/Facebook with a photo of your pieces/machine and we’ll see if we can help you 👍🏻😁
