- We finally made it to Disneyland Paris! This is a short vlog about our trip to Disneyland Paris in May 2024. We had so much fun and want to go back already. Need to start my sinking fund up again! I am so happy that you and your boys got to have your Disneyland vacation! You made it a goal and you achieved it. More importantly, you kept your promise to the boys. I'm sure the kids didn't mind the rain. Disneyland is the happiest place on earth. You need to start saving now for the next vacation. Hopefully, you can stay more than just a few days the next time. What a heartwarming and realistic Disney video. Kind of reminds me of my old Disney Paris VHS from years back! Shots of It's a Small World and fireworks (except you have better audio/visual)! 😂 Would love a realistic tips video for those on a budget. Lessons learned, etc. Hope you all had a fantastic time!

Fantastic that you and the boys finally got there Nicola. Love Disney parcs - we have over the years been to Paris, Florida and California. All wonderfully kept and maintained and safe. We have never found other theme parks eg in the UK to be anywhere near those high standards and they are not a patch on Disney - sadly, despite the entry prices. Hope you get to go again someday - we want to go again someday soon too.
I really want to try and take them to the Florida one someday 💜 I wish there was a Disney in the UK!

I really enjoyed this thanks. Kind of you to share it with us all. Although I advised filling your envelopes I can totally see why you went. I imagine it is like drawing a line underneath the last 2 years and moving forward with a sparkle. I felt tearful watching the fireworks too. I’m so glad you got there and have had a wonderful time. One small complaint though. It has taken me 26 years to get that music ear worm out of my head - It’s a small world, and now it’s right back there😂😂. They are lucky boys xxx

CONRATS Nicola, YOU MADE IT!!!!! I am so happy for you and your boys. (And yes, I recognize the work, effort and stress involved with even amazing and awesome trips, so extra kudos when you are doing this solo -- and I also mean without another mom friend and her kids or grandparent/s or a sibling and their kids, etc!)
It's A Small World was my favourite ride as a child when I went to the OG Disney - Disneyland in California for the first time in around 1980 or so as a young child. (I was 4 or 5 I believe) I'm going to ask my Mom some questions. I got the RECORD /vinyl for It's a Small World and played it until it literally stopped working I think. Wore it out. lol
Way to go!!! Incredible. Memories for decades to come. (Just like me of my first visit almost 45 years ago!!)

apart from bringing your own food and drinks, what are the best ways to be frugal on this trip. I want to spend as little as possible but have the most enjoyment.
I am yet to purchase entrance tickets to the park, so any advice? is the fastpass really worth the wait?

Aw amazing bet it felt all the more better for saving so hard to take the boys too! Just watched it with my little girl who will be 4 at the end of the year, I hope to take her in a few years too! What age are your boys again if you don’t mind me asking; just wouldn’t know a good age really wouldn’t want to go just now as she wouldn’t remember it all xx

I have 4 boys and save an absolute fortune buying things like Christmas jumpers/school trousers/school shoes on there. I also sell things on there and use the credit on my account to buy them things I need. It has had a huge positive impact on my budget!
