OMG I'm so glad you've made this video 😂 I have a full time job and I'm a sculptor AND am considering trying CZcams. Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but these things make me so happy. Energy is the hardest part of this, so it's super reassuring to hear you speak about that element of it and how sometimes you don't touch your art for a week. I almost spat out my tea saying ME TOO!!! Best of luck with all your work, keep it up! (When you can 😉)
I have a sketchbook of that size, and I find it so hard to work in. Not only because it feels so hard to fill a spread (though, I guess I just need to draw bigger), but I find that in the spaces that I tend to work, a sketchbook that size is a really unwieldy or even impossible to get to lay nicely. Especially because I like to turn my sketchbook as I’m working to get a better angle for my hand. You basically have to have a wide open flat space to work in, and my work area is tight. It’s basically just sitting untouched on my shelf.
I'm always inspired after watching you paint! I think I'm in a place where I want to make bigger paintings without worrying about detail and your work is so loose and effortless and it's something I want to embody in my future work!

Okay, I gotta ask. Is there a secret way of cooking brussel sprouts or a special ingredient that I'm missing? Either I'm doing it way wrong, or maybe brussel sprouts are just one of those things where you like them or you don't, no in between? Raising kids I've tried so hard to open up their palette and get them to try many different foods and have the experiences that come with foods from other cultures. But sadly that's the one food that none of us can stomach, let alone smell. I've cooked them different ways, purchased them from restaurants, and sadly nothing worked. I've given up. I know this is an art channel, but I thought it might be okay to ask y'all since you mentioned it. Thank you for any advice, I appreciate it! :)
@@melanie990 I honestly just buy the microwaveable steam in bag frozen b sprouts! Birds eye has some that are pre-seasoned that are my personal fav! I've also had them grilled which is pretty legit if you're into grill tasting things lol but I was also a kid who was obsessed with green beans and broccoli so perhaps I'm predisposed to love them? Also they are pretty good with bacon bits/maple syrup sauce so that could be a workaround? Good luck on the b sprout journey!! 💖🙏

At the mo, my favourite vegetable is leeks 🌱 amazing addition to food when you cba to chop an onion, and they're also kinda sweet which makes them extra yum.
It is hard to choose, but zukinni, grilled in a pan with spices (salt, pepper, coriander seeds, kurkumin, optional garlic) I can eat that alone and be very happy about it :D , or brokkoli same way, but only with salt, pepper, garlic, and a bit of shreded cheese 😍 I also need to know your fave type of puppy and cat!!!!!!!!

Roasted or pan-fried is 10/10, and it goes well with most things. The other favorite is actually romaine lettuce - love the texture of it in salads! Do you cook? I really like potatoes, mashed potatoes. Love the video, particularly the top quality Toadie appearances, I've missed seeing his gorgeous face. Hugs and smooches for him. How is Hercules, I miss his face and little screetches, hugs and smooches for him too. I also like broccoli and cauliflower. And carrots, raw or cooked. That painting of the beautiful flowers your friend gave you is STUNNING, I love it 💖 nice to see James with his drill, I think everyone loves James, he seems such a good friend. The studio looks amazing, so airy and light. You seem much more relaxed which is lovely to see. I'm not a fan of my birthday either, and I'm not really sure why, it's not because I'm getting older, age has never bothered me, it's weird. If you dip the tip of your posca pen in water when it stops working and shake it they last even longer and still hold pigment!
