seeing herc's cage at the beginning threw me for a loop....logically I KNOW he needs a home but in my little brain he's a free roaming spirit who can't be tied down by any mere kennel.
He’s barely held down by his cage sits mostly just for sleeping and eating

I heard swapping desk chair wheels out for rollerblade wheels is life-changing. Maybe that could save your floors and cute new rug?
I switched to floor protection wheels and they are really nice. Now that you mention rollerblade wheels that is pretty much what they look and feel like. Protects the floor and i can still roll around nicely (biggest downside to a rug imo, it crunched up constantly when i moved whith the chair).

I COMPLETELY relate to feeling like the smallest thing will set you off.....I had a full breakdown the other day because I made a passport appointment and showed up and the lady was gone and gonna be away at lunch for TWO HOURS. It's stressful to be aware of how stressed you are like that and still not be able to chill tf out lmao anyway I see you and I'm here with you!!!

Fun video! Thank you Leigh🤗 idea......you can by new caster wheel replacements on Amazon! My chair at salon had so much hair stuck in its wheels ....so much so looked like it had slippers! Then I was told “look up caster wheel replacement!” Go figure! Worked like a charm!

Thank you for being so honest about your stress and the whole thing with mossery. I've went through something similar myself on a much smaller scale. Saying no to opportunities is never easy but at the end of the day if its causing you more stress and difficulty than anything else it just isn't worth it. People think art is so fun and easy and every oppertunity is a blessing for the artist but thats not always the case. Sometimes its better to step back, better to do something right in a way you're confident in than in a way you're not happy with. I'm glad to hear they responded well and I hope you start feeling better soon Leigh! ❤

I can totally relate to that feeling of being stuck in commission or project. I had to create a painting for a commission and I couldn't get it together. In the end I had to bow out. Oh the guilt and feels,but it all worked out in the end. The anxiety does that and stumps the process. Better to push it away and live to create another day! ^_^
Super proud of you for stepping back from the mossery project! I could tell it was a stressful thing for you even just with what you shared on your vlogs, and your mental health does matter in your work, especially when it's such a personal thing like art.

SO proud of you for acknowledging your stress triggers and quitting Mossery! I too struggle with the guilt that comes with quitting things, so I know how it can feel making a decision like that (I did something similar very recently ahh), but it's SOOOO important to care for your health!! Boundaries are rad! Anyway, sending those hugs and tisses your way!
No pressure with Mossery but if you do end up deciding to do the sketchbooks collab with Mossery, I will definitely get one because they're right here in my home country, Malaysia 🥰
