God, the chill energy of these videos sends me to such a peaceful place. I want to live a life like that...lol, my life sucks. Also, I love that it's filmed like a "slice of life" indie movie, I dig it. And James dropping his phone 3 stories is hilarious....of course that would happen to him, lol.

Hi, Leigh. One of the things I've done to unify a cluttery space is to find a cool piece of fabric, and attach it to the top of the shelf unit. It could be on velcro for easy removal, then it hides the small items, and adds a decorative element to the room. Yellow and white stripes for instance.
I love to see studio organization with my early access eyes because I will finally have my own studio space later this year! It's really inspiring. We also have a lot of bare wood looks in our house (with my partner) but I'll be free to use colorful paint in my studio heheh. I like the wood in combination with colors :) Super trendy lol. Also vacation looked nice and relaxing, and the otters were so cute! My fav vacation spot is anywhere with nice nature and where we can take a lot of walks.

Favourite vacation so far for me has been to Taipei, Taiwan in 2019. Love how clean it is, how easy it is to commute via their public transportation especially their trains. Took their bullet train for the first time ever and it was such an amazing experience. Love the laid-back and super chill vibes the city offers . I would love to visit again if I have the opportunity in the future. Hope you had a great holiday Leigh!! Welcome back 😘😘

OTTERS ahhhhhhhhhhh ! this vlog was like a ghibli movie 🥺 so peaceful and lovely and cinematic slice of life vibes. I love the studio organization, I just put up some new shelves and I'm on the same struggle of useful storage and more shelf space vs things looking cluttery.
ps my fave vacay was my 1 week study abroad in Paris, mostly the parts when I went on walks with a friend by ourselves lol. but also driving from ohio to vermont in june was lovely.
Leigh, I totally agree with what you said about moving into a new space, and getting overwhelemed as it gets filled up. I moved into my first self rented apartment in Feb 2020, and spent a few months with nothing as the pandemic elevated.. I felt so peaceful in the wide open space. I got a couch, and was happy and also annoyed that it took up so much of the free floor space, even though it was much more comfortable and was exactly what I had wanted. Once I got settled, I forgot that open space and felt better in the space I created. I hope that after a while, the new vibe will feel normal and comfortable to you :)

Not really a vacation spot since I went there for art school and dropped out after 2 years, but I really love going to Moscow, ID. Super pretty up there and it always feels like I’m walking around a magical and artsy small town that holds a whole bunch of secrets. 🥰

Favorite vacation was to Arizona & Utah, went to Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon. Loved the relaxed vacation filming in this.🖤
would love to check out those parks! I went to the Grand Canyon when I was small but it was snowy and we couldn't see anything!

My studio aesthetic is different but has a similar theme. I have the same issue feeling like there's too much clutter if things are out. I ended up going with matching white wall cabinets, dressers and standing tall cabinets with floating shelves just for decor. Having the cabinets is great for keeping down visual clutter and they're just as (if not more) functional! Nothing feels better than right after cleaning when everything looks fresh and clean ✨
i freaking looooved the envelopes!! the bright neon green is definitely a plus, and also... what a heck with your amazingly beautiful fits!!!! like, every clip i was thriving for the outfits, my favorite one: the gridded b&w dress, absolutely gorgeous, your style is something that i'm gonna steal with no shame hahahahah. You could paint just the top of that kitchen table you used for the spare computer! Then you could get your pop of color, plus it would still go with the other raw wood in the space, and you wouldn't have to deal with the fiddly bits. You could even paint a checkered pattern or something! Since the overall time of the project would be way smaller, only doing the top.

My favorite vacation spots are any where on 30A in Florida and Deep Creek in Bryson City, NC. I liked the change in format for this video. The footage was absolutely gorgeous! I also just did a video about organizing my studio. It feels so good when everything has its place!

im watching this at a good time because ive just moved home from being abroad for a few months, and i need to set up a workspace while also decluttering old things and unpacking new things so theres a lot lol. I'm really feeling the raw wood look atm in my own space and i love how you're balancing it with colour, im trying to do the same but with some darker pieces because my desk is one big black monolith. The vacation looked so beautiful as well, if I ever make it to the US i would love to visit that place
