Your hot water system temperature can easily be adjusted… and why maybe you shouldn’t!

Is your hot water system too cold? Too hot? Or does it even matter?
In this video we discuss how to adjust hot water tank temperature and thermostatic/tempering valve temperatures, the reasons why you may want to do so and also the major health risks involved.
Be aware: the thermostatic valve is the only user adjustable component in the video, all other work involved should be carried out by a qualified tradesperson.
If your house doesn't have a thermostatic valve installed you should talk to a plumber about getting one.
