Hi James! I have issues getting the speed above 20km/h after updating several times. Only way I founds to override the speed limit is to set current-based throttle. I have a ES1. Any ideas? Thanks

I tried all different Regions. Motor definitely spins up to 30km/h but directly drops back to 20km/h limit.
@@eriktillberg7865 sounds like upgrade has effectively downgraded the flashed software. I would suggest flashing the software again and see if it makes a difference.

I have an ES2 for 18 months and something like 1200km. 2 problems :
Rear Brake broken - > replaced
Front LED ON - > engine goes down from 25 to 10 km/h-> I bought a mountable bike LED and stopped using ES2's LED
Am really interested in flashing my ES2 to reach 30km/h but am scared because I have a read some comments reporting that control board died after that or connectors burnt.. Can you please light me up about this? Thank you again!! 😊
mine as of now no issue and im always using max speed you need to replace your control if thats is your issue

Hello again, Im hoping you can answer a question I have regardjng my ninebot es4 scooter. I did follow your advice on replacing the controller and that didnt solve my issues because it was actually the dashboard that was messed up. So I ordered an already flashed dashboard for my scooter which unlocked the speeds allowing it to reach 30 mph instead of 15 mph and my question is , will connecting to the ninebot app and allowing it to update my scooters firmware mess everythjng up and bring the max speed back down to their settings? Im not sure if I should allow the updates. Thanks in advance.

I couldnt get it to cancel the update and I began to panic and just powered off my phone in the middle of performing the update🤣😂🤣😂 Thankfully everything was still at top speed. Close call tho.

Mine goes 23 mph without flashing it . It's a bird too and only supposed to go 15.5 mph ..the m365 tools app will also control under lights with different patterns or shut them off completely ..no flashing required

Just made the upgrade. In final step when I open m365 tools. Scooter screen turns off and a loud beep sounds. My scooter no longer works. How can I solve this?

James Angelo TV Yes. I made the flash, it completed successfully. Then, I opened the xiaomi m365tools and the first time it showed info but when I turned the scooter on the screen flashes and then turnos off and a loud beep starts and doesn’t stop until you turn the scooter off
@@santiagovaldez4237 Sounds like you've fried your control board. That happened to me today, when I was trying to flash the Max G30 with settings that were not good for the scooter. So now I've got to buy a new control board.

es1LD is design for rental scoot that’s why no bluetooth. there is another way of to make it fast but i didn’t test you need to change the progran ang chips inside

Thanks for the video James. My BLE version is 1.0.7. Tried to downgrade it with the Xiaomi flasher to BLE 1.06. Said it was successful but still shows BLE 1.0.7. Same with the custom firmware. App says: successfully flasher. Reboot Scooter. But I do not see any changes. Maybe you can help me out. Thanks

I have tried this countless times today and I would say the problem lies with the ZIP file generated by the website. The patches are not being applied in the right places. I rolled back the firmware and tried it. I tried the 1.5.1 stuff and it all gave different results but not the one I wanted. Could cause damage if you left a shitty file in place. ES1 mine, I dare say the development has gone on from that but they have not taken into account that Segway have changed things so it is now all half arsed.

@@JamesAngeloTV Today, BLE 1.0.6 BMS 1.4.6 ESC 1.3.9.
Wrote a 1.3.9 file for it ,size 39.1kb installed it and the top speed went from 14mph to 16mph on RED S. Low speed was still the 4mph I put in using and old version of the real Segway app. White S was 8mph that I had entered. So everything was right except for the top speed only being 16mph when I had set it to 34kmh. So I thought I would install the same file again. All three settings then went to 16mph. I did it again and all 3 settings went to 4mph. See that file site is putting the patches in the wrong places. OR it depends what speed setting your on when you flash it and it will not exceed 16mph. My scooter was new 2 days ago.
@@JamesAngeloTV I have joined the Scooterhacking forum and a lot of the new ES's now come factory locked to a maximum 26km/h. They can sometimes get around this by changing the serial number. So it is not just me and this will not work for some people.

I have ES1, I followed your steps and put max speed on RED ''S'' to be 31km/h, and I left stock speed at WHITE ''S'' to be 23km/h, flashed it with xiaoflasher and it just doesn't work. It shows the new firmware when I connect it to xiaoflasher but the max speed is not changed in any mod. Help please!

I tried something a little different to my ES1, now the damn thing wont' even turn off! BT Connects, but it can't even see it's a scooter anymore.. yay!
X14J turn on the lihgts while driving with max speed it affects also the battery
My advise : don't ever use front light on ES2. Buy one and mount it up on it :) More powerfull and also no problems on ES2

Do I have to do these steps more than once?...or once done, my scooter will reach a higher speed continuously along?
What I'm asking is if done successfully. Will I need to re-flash again if I turn off scooter?
your scooter is already program to that speed so once youve flash it it will stay there but if you want to remove use default settings

Question po. Lets say gumama yung pag flash at na rereach nya 32kmh, Kamusta naman yung vehicle temps nya? Tapos kamusta din yung hatak nya uphill habang naka gamit ng custom firmware? Pwede ba to kahit walang naka install na external battery? Salamat po.
