Consider this. Everything Qrow has done since he joined beacon was more or less for ozpin. Every hardship, every fight, every order. Oz's goals were Qrow's goals. More or less the only thing keeping his life together. His "One thing".
Make those goals kinda irrelevant, and suddenly you have a man that has nothing but a professional hunter's license, his 2 nieces, and alcohol.
i am surprised he contained that to one punch.

seriously though, genies are inherently mischievous though out most cultures, so when he phrased the question the way he did, i knew that she was just gonna go with the simple 'you can't'.... But apparently he never saw it coming
@@zippacna i mean... its very likely that neither the Age of Heros(or was it age of legends?) nor the current age had anything like Genies or monkey paws.
without cultural background to back it up the question "how can i defaet her"(or similiar) and got answerd no.
He took it the way most people would if you got told that by someone you know has the answer to the question.. you take it at face value, and interpret it in what you THOUGHT you asked(or what your question was meant to be in your head)
To be fair, RWBY genies are really good.
Jinns's a story teller. If you ask a straightforward question, she'll give you the answer you deserve, to the question you asked.
Ask an open question ("What is ozpin hiding from us") and she goes full fluff mode, because there is a story to tell.
Using her lamp to stop time is a clever trick and instead of being mad she literally praises Ruby for the cleverness.
Same thing for Ambrosius. Give him something straightforward to build and he'll be bored half to death, but ask a request that makes him think and be creative, and he'll go beyond your expectations(There is no way in hell there were enough human body parts to keep penny alive after the robot parts were removed, but Ambrosius rewarded the sheer creativity of the request)

Qrow: the one thing that gave my godforsaken any meaning turned out to be pointless. What have i got to live for now; being the absent uncle to my nieces? Guess I'll drink till I get the answer. One things for sure though. I at least have to help these kids dump this lamp with Jimmy at Atlas. After that, well... guess I'll go bar hoping like normal. 1) Happy Rubes is best Rubes.
2) To my knowledge, those specific CZcamsrs explicitly banned on r/RWBY aren't necessarily banned because they dislike RWBY. They were banned because they making criticisms in bad faith, created unnecessary drama, or made outright or thinly veiled sexist/ homophobic remarks. Most critics aren't banned, and they've said some pretty outrageous things in my view, but it has soured general opinion on RWBY CZcamsrs in the past. That perception on the sub has been a barrier to overcome, but thankfully a few great posters have vouched for me and made it known that the content I create is largely from a place of support for the show. At the end of the day I think the sub is in good shape, and the mods are within their rights to shutdown drama before it starts.
