his style of music is 9 out of 10 times better live then recorded. most live recordings/videos i've heard of the tallest man on earth i prefer to his album versions

Look, I don't know why people are getting so nutty over your opening credits. Homage or ripoff, the music is great and the cinematography is great and the landscapes are beautiful. People are focusing on the least important part of the piece. It's like hating on a painting because you don't like the frame.
I love this music but have a hard time understanding how *some people think he's the best guitar player ever id go check out mason Williams or Tommy emmanuel
honestly, try to watch his finger placement and plucking patterns along with that, and use your ears too. i found that easier than the tabs, but maybe its just cause im a right-brain person when it comes to music. paper is lame, sound is where its at. either way, a lot of his songs are difficult. pretty intricate.
