Wow...This video made me realize what a fantastic artist Ben Lee is... i mean all I've really heard from him is "Catch My Disease" and "We're All In This Together" but last week I heard him cover "Thrash Unreal" by Against Me! and it was incredible how he changed the tempo and speed and turned it into an acoustic song to match his voice and singing stlye...and he did the same with this song...Just Great!
The line "and I want a TV Embrace" led me to Ben. For some reason, to me, it shined in a list of songs that followed the same chord progression. Kids was also a song covered in the Axis of Awesome video that covers all of the songs that use the same progression. But through it it all - Ben Lee still stood out in my mind. I've shared him, I've mp3ified this cover, ect. Something about it just makes me feel ... music. Ben makes it real.
Capo 4th fret: Keep your pinky and ring fingers on the 3rd frets of high e and B respectively. Then with your pointer and middle make Em, C, G, and D shapes. Repeat until chicks dig it.
I found this song on the Ministry of Sound - Uncovered vol.2 and had to come see if there was a film clip or something and this is just epicly amazing :D
