1989 Compaq Mono VGA server monitor

Today we put a little Compaq mono VGA monitor on the bench. This was bought from the We Love CRT guys in Liverpool and we power it up. Work out what is going on with it and start the process or bring it back to life
So what would this monitor be used for? Back in 1989 this monitor would have been dedicated for use on the Compaw Proliant range of 286 and 386 servers probably running Novell Netware operating systems. Its a rare monitor as may were junked once the server ended useful life.

I quite like that monitor.
That reminds me on my first BW VGA Monitor, The Brand was BULL and i was just 16yo than.
I've receive that Monitor so roundabout 1996.
