This looks like an expensive labor bill. My 700 is knocking, and I’m guessing it’s the same issue as this motor, but hasn’t self destructed yet. I’m going to use your video as a guide. Thank you for posting.
These 700’s are great motors and are very reliable….as long as you keep the right amount of oil in them. If it gets low, they go kaput reaaal fast. Wish you the best of luck!

Exact same thing happened to mine, I was able to find a used but it’s good shape bottom end, this seems to be a notorious issue
Any chance you know of a an engine for sale or know of anyone? Im in need of the bottom case mostly. Everything else i can find.
