The A-Train soda comercial is basically a parody of the Pepsi comerical that Kendal Jenner did a few years back when BLM protests were in full swing. Look it up on youtube. It's hilarious.

The thing about this situation is that Homelander has played his hand against a man who has made it his life to play these games. Homelander is setting himself up for a big fall.

I think Edgar did it on purpose. Neuman got V from Homelander to keep her daughter safe, she could have gotten that from Edgar. And she could even gotten V24, in security guards protecting her daughter.
Edgar tells Homelander that he's on his own now - which he is - which he won't be able to handle. Edgar then get's what he want's - Homelander back on the leash.
Stop overestimating Edgar only cause he is played by Giancarlo Esposito he got punked by Butcher last season. He is a very intelligent man but nowhere near as cunning as Gus. Edgar's character is the personification "the bottom line" so there is no way someone like him would willingly go forward with a plan that puts someone like Homelander at the top of Vought
@@arturzinurov2146 Maybe but part of me thinks that he's not done yet because if he's the CEO of the company when the shit show with homelander happens, then he'll probably get fired, but if homelander goes unhinged then his entire whistle blowing means nothing and he'll become his own scapegoat for Edgar to come back and be like "yeah. wasn't me." Just like what they did with Madelain stillwell
Something I didn't pick up on until rewatching it. That scene with homelander and hughie was probably homelander prodding to see how much starlight cared about hughie, or in another way of saying it, how effectively hughie could be used as leverage to keep her under his control.
Something I love that I feel was emphasized in the first 3 episodes was that hughie was always aware of kimiko, he tells her he enjoyed her playing the piano but the second he got high he didn’t even register anything except the power
Does it really seem like a Stan Edgar thing to do to leave incriminating documents out where Homelander could find them? To expose Vicky by accident like that? I think he wants Homelander to trust her for some reason. He’s way too clever to be caught out like this and far too cool about the circumstances for it to be what it seems to be on the surface.
I think it may all be part of his plan to get Vaught “Out of the superhero business.”
The moment I saw the episode title I thought Stan would be doing some big thing ("The glorious 5 year plan" - He wanted to retire in 5 years) and honestly all this really seems like a high level scheme but I still can't imagine what he plotting but I assume he needed to be out of Vought to do it (he probably still has control over it through other people)
He did act kind of surprised when he later talks to Victoria, though it could also have been just that, an act

23:11 Very likely that the V will have a bad effect. Homelander said in season 1 that adult subjects have a higher risk of disaster when Compound V is administred. And taking into account The Boys: Diabolical, even with the best chances at a young age, compound V is a lottery and the chances of a good power/no physical deformity are small.
And because Neuman wants his daughter to be strong and safe makes me think that is gonna have the opposite effect or at least, giving her some awful/terrible/detrimental/useless power.
"Sometimes Butcher acts like Homelander" is kind of the point the show has been making for 3 seasons now.
And is it really truly shocking that A-Train of all people would rat someone out the moment it becomes convenient for him?

Soldier Boy is the weapon that can kill HomeLander, the ray he puts out takes out a dupes power and that is how they’ll be able to kill HomeLander. Hence, why Kimeko isn’t healing.
Solid Gold is a real show from the 80’s
I mean, from the start A-Train has had zero integrity throughout the entire series, so him telling Homelander about Supersonic was always going to be the end result. The sad part was more that Supersonic dared to get A-Train involved. Starlight should have forewarned him about people in the team that aren't trustworthy.
i dont feel the russians like vought and the seven at all. The graffitis on the wall and that stuff look more like they are mocking vought and the seven. like parodies of each member of the seven in a bad way. The seven represent the us presence and the russians would hate that.
You guys asked what was Supersonics power and the answer is we have no idea lmao. He was in 4 episodes and we never saw his power and doesn't look like we ever will.

Watching reactions of this I'm shocked how many people know nothing about the Kendall Jenner Pepsi ad.
I guess they were working on suppressing the powers. They had Soldier-Boy in there and were successfully repressing his powers. When he came out, that blast was the suppression leaving him, somehow, and it hit Kamiko and now her powers are suppressed instead. So maybe they do have a way to potentially suppress Homelander's powers.
Nah, he broke out of his restraints before using his blast so i think he's had his powers the whole time. My take is that he has a power that can suppress the V and the Russians are using him to make that power into a weapon so they can kill the US supes

The thing is, Homelander can't kill Stan without proving him right. If he loses his shit like usual, he just confirms that everything Stan said about him is 100% accurate. And that kills him. If he gives in, Stan wins. If he does nothing, Stan still wins. All because Stan doesn't have any fucks to give about him. That lack of any fear or respect is why Homelander can't touch him. He *needs* Stan to acknowledge him.

I think for most of the audience, the minute supersonic told A train, we all knew that he signed his own death warrant. I find it funny that each Temp-V power amplifies the characters' natural traits and weaknesses. Butcher is just brutal like Homelander and his high off its power, and Hughie is teleport/getting out of danger but leaves him completely naked/vulnerable. They actually both get high off the power and it's addictive, like a drug.

And the Solid Gold Dancers were just hot chics and dudes dancing to hit songs of the time. Solider Boy is doing a cover of Blondie's song Rapture, which was a big hit in 1981.

For some reason, i actually really like vicky. I mean yeah, she's a supe, but she hasn't done anything bad yet (the exposing of stan was just her doing her job) and has even helped take down a lot of supes. I hope they don't randomly kill her (or kill her at all to be honest).

It seems that the Russians took soldier boy to experiment on him, in order to essentially turn him into a super weapon that could be used to kill other shoes. If that chest beam can disable another supe’s abilities, then theoretically it can make Homelander vulnerable.
