All you need to know is that it’s a re-colored Ferris. Not saying they are crap mowers but that’s basically all this is. Just like the Steiner knock off of Ventrack is now owned by Bobcat. Very similar machines under completely different names.

It's basically a Ferris which offers the best back saving ride in the business. Hopefully these mowers will sell well and keep this suspension in the market.

Too bad they don't make a commercial mower in 48" I have a lawn service in Southern Florida and with the quarter acre and smaller lots and the tiny gates everyone has I can't go up to a 60" I've had Toro mowers that are great. Im currently running a Bobcat zt3500 48 which isn't totally commercial and isn't holding up at all. After all my research, my next mower is going to be an Exmark Lazer series in 48" it has a great warranty too. The Stihl looks cool though.

This basically a ferris and ive never went wrong with a ferris so I'll stick with it and continue to use stihl for everything else

It’s a great mower but it’s definitely not a Stihl engineered product….it is Ferris and excellent

Dont buy stihl, buy ferris. this stihl mower is identical to the ferris on paper with one humongous flaw. No suspension seat??? Even with a suspension system, If you're paying 14k for a mower and you don't get a suspension seat, that should be a crime man.
