- I have this big project I am working on where I needed to route and cut straight lines along a sheet of plywood in both the long and short direction. I have a bar guide that only fits the 4 ft width of a sheet of plywood but I needed something to reach across the 8 ft length. I was looking for something in Lowe's that fit my purpose and one of the guys there showed me this Kreg Straight Edge Guide XL which handles 8 ft lengths. I go over the assembly and usage and give you my thoughts on it.

Thanks for this review. I was looking at picking one of these up, but was worried it would just be another worthless tool in my shop.
Yea you definitely get one good solid edge all the way down the 8 ft length and it holds well. I will be posting a video of the project I needed this stuff for and I don't think I could have done this project without this guide.

The manual is in English, Spanish, French, and German, so it is not that thick at all. :)
