Does everyone need to have the mod on? Because one of my friends play valheim on Xbox
@@jamiecorpus6653 That's a great question! I don't think xbox can get mods, but I don't think this one is required by all to run it on a server. I'll test it out on my kid's computer.
The best case scenario - your xbox friend won't see your dragon, armor, or anything else associated with the mod. Worst case - the server sync requires all to have the mod installed.

Wow this looks so cool, do you think being able to fly up and down is something being worked on at the moment? Or is this something impossible to code into the game through modding? Anyways looks really cool!
@josephclark4848 According to the mod creator's Thunderstore info, they specifically wrote for the dragon to not have vertical controls. Check the mod link in the description for the full story.
Idky, but not being able to move vertically kinda ruins it for me. Might still give it a shot though
Definitely should! Can't make things TOO easy, or it won't be much of a survival game...LOL.
I've noticed that in "fly/glide" mode, you can steer into a mountain or hillside and the dragon will follow the contour up. Not exactly cheating your way through, but a decent option.

can i change the food that the dragon will be sure?? snowboar is hard to find, if possible write me the name of the feed that I should put in the config settings
You can change the food for the dragons. You can use the following website to find all the prefabs. Just pick a raw meat that makes sense, maybe WolfMeat (for the mountains), or whatever you prefer.
You can also change the spawn number of snowboar in the mountains. I've never had an issue finding those.

@@Ruijven-1 I can find the dragon in BepInEx_ConfigurationManager, I deleted the preset food and wrote the food according to the page you sent me, wolf meat or item_wolf_meat. none of it works and the dragon doesn't want it.

Question, how did u get the dragon scale for the armour
Honestly, I spawned it to showcase in the review. Since then, I've noticed that dragons that die leave behind dragon scales, but I'm not sure if there is another way.

Cant get him to grow, any idea what you actually need to do with them following you? just follow for x time? get exp?
I fed mine the whole snow boar every time it was hungry. They won't grow without that. From hatchling to adolescent (ridable) it took about 5 in game days. A few more days and it should be full adult size. Keep feeding it and letting it follow you around.

@@cramsinatro3107 That one I don't know. I'm guessing it may have something to do with downing the Queen boss. You should pop in Ygg's discord and ask.

hey i saw ur dragon had 3,000hp, mine has 2k. does it get bigger the longer its alive?
do you know a way to increase the dragons storage capacity?
I've noticed two sizes for the "adult" dragons. The first one is when it is first able to be mounted after being a hatchling. You will notice the horns/spikes around its head are smaller.
If you keep feeding it (I think), then it will grow another size, and the horns/spikes around the head are larger, and the entire dragon is larger. The larger size is the one I was riding during the feature.

I remember the young adult version had a smaller capacity than the full grown adult.
Beyond the full grown adult size, there are several mods that allow you to either increase your stack size or to change the capacity of chests/containers.
@Ruijven-1 I got the more stacks mod but the mods where you can change chest/inventory size seem to be broken for now
@TianLong72K You might try Adventure Backpacks by Vapok. It would be a backpack inside of a chest, which I'm not sure you can do, but if you want more storage, that might be the way to go until something else is updated.

Have you tried the horn yet to call it back?
I accidentally dismounted in the air once and it flew away. I'm still looking for it
I found mine fighting some plains mobs. Glad it's pretty tanky or I'd be hatching another.
Sad the Devs don't think of these things..
I think the Devs have a lot going on already. I'm grateful they didn't come out and say "No mods AT ALL!!!"
This is so close to perfection, so close. Why don't they add the vertical control ? A dragon meant to fly, otherwise it's a big lizard, not a dragon.
There is another mod you can add to it that lets you fly up and down.
