Great editing, I liked the little references (especially the AC one).
My favourite part of the video, though, has to be the delightful 'dark-timeline' moment where you contemplated a way to get soft tissue : it had setup, it was perfect for pacing of the first quarter, and it had a payoff a bit later on.
The Queen hath returned!! I put hundreds of hours into Valheim and this channel was what helped me fall in love with the game. Beating the mistlands was such a good experience even in its current state.
No word of a lie... started a fresh world yesterday, then thought to myself..."I'm sure I'm subscribed to Embr... I havent seen anything from her in a while"... then the next day... here you are in a triumphant return!

I am only just getting into the Mistlands content for the very first time myself, and I love being able to explore and find new things for the first time since I started playing years ago! So glad I picked the game back up and it was very lovely getting some secondhand exploration in vicariously through you while taking care of "chores" at my base between my own journeys!

Soft tissue is fossilised jotun brain! The dvergr are also mining the giant skulls for it. That's why they drop it when they die.
The arbelest pairs well with a magic setup, as it uses barely any stamina. Using the magic staffs to farm a grey dwarf spawner (for wood, stone and eyes) gets your skill up to decent levels pretty quickly. Or you can sit up a nerd pole in the mountains, shooting frost at a stone golem that takes no dmg from it...

Now that you´ve completed the mistlands these tips probably aren´t relevant anymore, but maybe they are helpful or future playthroughs: most enemies in the mistlands do pierce damage, you can avoid taking too much damage from them by using the root body armour, it provides immunity against pierce damage (just remember switching to padded armour when fighting gjall, as it is weak to fire); also using fire resitance mead and hitting its belly (its crit spot) as often as possible makes fighting gjall way easier, especially if you manage to get a tree or something similar between you and the gjall, as it can´t hit you then; furthermore frostner is a better weapon choice than the sword/atgeir/similar against seekers and the like, as they are all resistant to blunt, pierce and slash, so the halved blunt damage plus the freeze damage from frostner amounts to more damage per hit, and also slows them down.
Anyways, congrats at beating the mistlands, for getting you phd and keep up the work on your videos, they are great👍

Congrats on getting your PHD! I have been waiting for this video eagerly. A friend and I were playing this, but after fighting a Gjarl in a dwarven quarry and accidently damaging them, they wiped us and it seemed like such a pain to gear up to get our stuff. We moved to a different game. 🙂
