2021 Harley Davidson Lowrider S with Stage III 122 Screamin Eagle Kit

  • In the video I review the 2021 Harley Davidson Lowrider S with a stage III 122 kit. This kit makes about 110hp and 140tq according to Harley's website. The cam they used is a low to mid end cam so more emphasis on the torque than the horsepower. This thing is a blast to ride and has as much power as anyone could possibly need.

    TEAM LOWRIDER S, HELL YEAH!
I got mine Black Friday weekend. When I got mine the 122 wasn't available for the softail so I did the 131 that way I could get it covered by the factory warranty under the 60 day rule. Way more power than I will ever use, but I will never want for more power.

I said I would never get a Low Rider S because of how popular it is. That’s until I rode it. When I traded in my iron 883 I test rode everything and was leaning towards the Fat Bob but decided to check out the LRS because it was the last ‘21 model left and was discounted pretty significantly. I knew within a few minutes, probably seconds, that I was leaving with this bike. Sometimes the popular option isn’t the best but sometimes it’s popular because it is the best.

love my lowrider. correct on the warranty. any part that you buy that is Harley or screaming eagle it is covered under warranty for a year and it doesn't void your warranty. only time it voids it is if the part is not screaming eagle and the part affects anything on the Harley due to the aftermarket part.

Big fan of stage 3 119/122. BUT..
heads up MoCo replaced the designed for the higher 11-1 compression stage 3 kit, 498 cam & springs for the can’t breathe or rev 447 torque cam.
I think this was done because a stage 3 119/122 can produce power just a smidge short of the cash cow stage 4 kits. MoCo didn’t want you to know you could get 95% of the power for less than 50% of the kit & labor price of the stage 4. (Utilizing full potential of stock heads & injectors)
Just tell your dealership you want the 498 cam & springs instead of the 447 cam & springs with your stage 3 119/122.
FWIW the 498 cam doesn’t lose bottom end torque like the stage 4 515 cam it simply doesn’t make quite as much top end HP. I have a fall of 2019 stage 3 114ci with 498 cam. It dynoed 116 HP and pulls at 2k rpm in town better than my stocker did.
And last you should always dyno tune a cam intake exhaust upgrade or much of what you bought is unrealized. Maps & tuner / auto tuner gets you 1/2 way home.

You know, they haven't done an engine kit in a touring bike in a while. I may be able to talk them into that. The 122 in this S was my favorite so far. A perfect amount of power in my opinion. The touring bikes are a little heavier so not quite as much get up and go I'd imagine but still a great setup. No the kit won't make the bike run any hotter.
