Come with me as I pop over to see Mum for the day on the Isle of Wight, a flying visit to Home Bargains and Mum makes a scrummy apple and raspberry crumble in her new Air Fryer and I try a selection from the Monsoon sale. Phew!
Oh, and a blooper at the very end....
The Air Fryer is Chefree, it's the same as the first one I showcased. Mum uses her air fryer nearly every day.
Apple and Raspberry Crumble recipe:
Mum used three eating apples and a handful of frozen raspberries.
8 oz flour, 4 oz butter and 4 oz demerara sugar.
She cooked the fruit down with a tbsp of sugar to soften, but not completely stew it and then put that in the tins to cool while she made the crumble topping. Rubbing the flour and butter together to make rough breadcrumbs, then add the sugar and sprinkle on top of the fruit mix. Bake in the air fryer for 15 mins on 180.

It was lovely to see the New Forest again, bringing back old holiday memories. Aren't we privileged to live in a beautiful green country? However you do appear to have fewer potholes and patches on your roads than we do in beautiful NI!

What a wonderful video, Helen! Your mum is so sweet! Riding along in the car and ferry was fun. I felt like I was on vacay. You live in a beautiful area. Being from the USA, having cars pass on the other side of the road felt strange. 😂 I liked the 2nd pink dress, and both sweaters. The potato. Holes keep the black one open a bit. Helen my son suffers terribly with hay fever/ allergies. I was same when young.We start the antihistamine in early Spring.Even before the hay fever hits.

Talk qbout a story.Wait til you hear this.Yes a POS number also tells the season and year the item was available. I used to work is a well known retail store.Many years ago. A lady returned this pair of leggings. Well the inner thin was almost gone.She said she had the 6 weeks. Nope.She had the 9 years.POS number showed the year and season. What was worse the manager opened the till and refunded her fully.Unbelievable.The rest of us pay for this in our purchases.

Hi Helen & Hello Helen's mum the crumble looks delicious I think making your own is a lot tastier than shop bought & the Air Fryer halves the cooking time & saves on electricity. Hi Helen. It’s always lovely to see your mum- she’s very independent and a natural on video! Love the giggles at the end! I did love the pink dress despite it being a little tight. I thought the black pullover was very nice but I have to admit that the cut outs on the sleeves spoilt it for me and though I know they’re a design feature, I can’t see the point of them on what is essentially an autumn/winter item.
