- Want tips before starting your podcast?
Here’s what Pat Flynn suggests:
1️⃣ Get used to recording behind the microphone. Start with people you already know if you want to do an interview show.
2️⃣ Build a podcast for your listeners.
3️⃣ Launch with three episodes on day 1.
4️⃣ Focus on your listeners and not on the numbers.
5️⃣ Provide value and always serve first.
Take these tips, and you'll have an amazing show that will attract listeners.✨

How does one "build a podcast for your listeners?" Do I find what interests them or can I come up with an idea and think people may like it? Just curious as someone interested in starting a podcast
I think one thing that can help is to find your niche. Then those people who like the same things will be your listeners. Let's say; for example, your niche is basketball, Then you build a podcast for people who loves basketball.
I hope that answers your question.
🎉🎉 great ideas 💡 especially doing three episodes before you launch

great advice thanks a lot ,jus a quick one what equipment do i need as a beginner basically to start OFF
Excited to hear that you're finding it helpful, Walter! To kick things off, having a smartphone or computer, along with a podcast hosting service like Buzzsprout, can get you started in podcasting. If you're on a budget but still want to invest in equipment, USB microphones such as the Samson Q2U or Audio-Technica ATR 2100x are great options. Remember, starting a podcast doesn't require the most expensive gear, just the right tools that fit your needs and budget. 🙂

How do you build a podcast for your listeners...
How do you create the split screen???
Hey Scott! We're using Squadcast for this remote interview. But if you're wondering about the tool used to edit this short video, our marketing team worked their magic.
hi what pop filter is that?
What mic is he using?
How do you build a podcast for your listeners when you don’t have listeners because you don’t have a podcast for them to listen to yet?
Great question! The best thing you can do is to start! Start by building a podcast you’d love to listen to. Your enthusiasm will attract like-minded listeners. Remember, every great podcast started with zero listeners too.
Our audience asked for a podcast, we made one and none of them are listening.

I want in, too! I want a partner, who's more into the editing and technical stuff. I just want to be the talent....I mean we would be having conversation with each other and the viewers. I'm a very strong reader, so someone who is shy about reading outloud, would be a good partner for me. Anyone in Houston, who's not in the streets, but is well informed and likes talking about true crime, celebrities and the culture, and you're looking for a podcast partner, let me know. I'm a mature female, but I'd fit in with the right 1 or 2 people. I'm like a "hip" Oprah who has loved all kinds of music throughout my life and I've always dreamed of being a talk show or game show host. 😊
I DIDNT MNOW DEEP POCKET MONSTER DID PODCASTS!
