It's partially because she's pretty, but I think it's mostly because she's very popular. Remember how long it took for CZcams to respond to the Logan Paul suicide forest video? It surely wasn't because he was a pretty girl, it was because he was a huge moneymaker for them.
It just blows my mind that the dumbest, most shallow content is also the most popular content on CZcams. 🤯
Whenever I click on youtube on a library computer or something when I'm not signed in, I'm shocked. I never knew what was actually popular on the platform. Admittedly a lot of this content seems intended for children

The scariest thing imo is that the majority of her followers are men that I could see doing something in her “defense.” I also heard it was just one of her videos demonetized. Admittedly I don’t know much about those CZcams details so that’s maybe normal?

it's kinda crazy to me, bc like you mentioned in the first half of the video, there was definitely an argument to be made that he was being overly critical of her. people might have been on her side. but now she's made such a strong move there's no way anyone could support her. she dug her own grave
Jack has been calling out "react" channels like hers for years, so him doing this isn't specific to her. Her "content" has just been an easy way to show the problems with "react" channels. He's actually been talking about reacting to creators other than her. I don't think he had a personal grudge against her, but he found a niche where he could hang out with his chat for a few hours while getting drunk and playing bingo. They were having fun while also calling out a problem, trying to credit creators, and encouraging other creators to fight for their own stolen content.
I understand why people see the number of videos he's made and immediately think the excessiveness = harassment. However, he likely spends less than 10 hours a week on making those videos. He streams on Twitch for a few hours a couple nights a week. His editors then take that footage and create 10-15 minute videos for CZcams. He gets 2-3 videos out of one stream. That's why it looks like a lot more than it really is.
Yeah he has been on youtube for over a decade and this problem isnt new and the majority of them are men. if sniperwolf wants to play the gender card lets imagine if a male youtuber did what she did to jacksfilms and how the reaction of youtube was then. same with her omegele content.
sniperwolf was also a good example because youtube promoted her which showed that they did not care that her content is stealing other peoples content from tiktok
i think that was the tipping point seeing that youtube not only allows but also encourages such behaviour on their platform meanwhile heavily ristricts monitisation for other youtubers who make original content

Also, the amount of time he spends making videos about her isn’t what could classify his behavior as harassment so you bringing that up as an argument is super weak. It’s the actual amount of videos he’s made about her that could be the problem, NOT how much time out of his life it took to make them. Not to mention that you don’t know how much time spends working on content about her and thinking about content about her. So you REALLY outfit to not be making this point because you don’t know what you’re talking about.
I like jack, I don’t like this girl, and I do think he’s mostly in the right here, but I do think he latched onto her a little too much. However, most importantly, I just hate bad arguments. And you have them.
@@thatgirlreacts5465 There's a video on the main jacksfilms channel called "Let's tttalk about Sssniperwolf." At 4:53, he explains why he's going after her and shows examples of videos he's made about other reactors.
The reason I bring up the time thing is because people see the dozens of videos on the jjjacksfilms channel and automatically assume that he's spending so much time making and editing videos. It makes people think he's obsessed with her and actually harassing her, which he's not. I wanted to clear up why there are so many videos so that others don't make the harassment assumption based on time spent.
Now, I don't think a large amount of time spent or a large number of videos can be defined as harassment; it's about the content. And to your point, no, I don't actually know how much time he spends thinking about her. But I can make an educated guess based on my knowledge of how the streaming to CZcams video pipeline works, my knowledge of him and his approach to creating content, and common sense.
@@meaton3805 there is no way in hell you can know how much time he spends creating content about her, talking about her to whoever is in his life and thinking about her. You’re not him, you’re not in his life, you simply don’t know. Now you can guess all you want but you’re going to look as ridiculous as someone saying he spends way too much time thinking/making content about her. We can’t know how much time that really is so why even mention it to begin with. It’s pointless and ridiculous. No matter which side of the argument one is.
Not to mention that EVEN IF HE WAS making content about her during the 24 hours of every single day of his life, that would constitute as harassment. Creepy, sick and obsessive behavior, yes. Harassment? No. Because it’s his life abd he can spend every single minute of it however he likes. And if that means making content for yt about one specific youtuber then so be it.
But the amount of videos he’s making about her IS, in fact, harassment. It’s too many videos. Just because age sucks and he has a good point about her, it doesn’t mean it’s not harassment. Remember Onision? At one point, EVERYONE was making videos about him and one channel made about 100 videos on him in a rather short period of time. He was and still is not a great person, but that was harassment towards him. It just was.
I think many people, yourself included, lose sight of the fact that just because the target sucks and it’s “only the internet” it duesnt mean that constant criticism can’t make a person feel harassed and overwhelmed.
Btw, thanks for the time stand. I’ll try and check that video out but I’m pretty sure jinx is the only other reactor jack has criticized. And it’s not like you’re denying so…

It's not the first time she's doxxed another youtuber or that she has no idea what that means. She (and her husband) were *sued* for it in 2017. The other youtuber made a critical video about her and she issued a DMCA takedown which he fought. To do that he had to give youtube (and her) his full name and address. She turned around and put his address on her social media. The case only got so far because the judge said it didn't apply to his jurisdiction (the YTer sued in his state instead of Shelesh's). I guess the other Yter didn't want to, or have the money to, pursue it any further. I found the court case online because I was looking for the one where her husband is suing her currently and that popped up instead. She doesn't have a leg to stand on in her defense of doxxing someone else unless she really is dumb as a rock.
CZcams keeping her on is a slap in the face to everyone they've canceled for much less. She doxxed two other youtubers and stalked one of those as well. She has taken hundreds of other's content and not been transformative or given them credit. Until recently she had a video up showing her trying to talk underaged kids on Omegle into doing things with a promise she'd flash her boobs in return. Come on.
Yeah I think that the role reversal part is pretty clear here. Very obvious case where if it were a man doing it to a woman, he'd be punished immediately.

Throughout the HB narrative, neither the sacrificing nor consumption of animals is to be taken lightly & there's a strong, animal welfare message. However, I haven't found anything, within the quoted statements of JC, which contains the "vegan" message.

I really don't know if CZcams would have responded differently if the roles were reversed. Public opinion may have been a liiittle different but I think it's a bit naive of anyone to think that our society/companies would do more to protect women than they did in this situation to protect Jack.

Would you do a video on veganism and agriculture methods? Is an agricultural method that uses no animal byproducts feasible/sustainable? Is there a way to use animal byproducts (like manure) ethically?
You bring up a good point. If the roles were reversed CZcams would have reacted faster.
Agreed that SSSniperWolf maybe should be better at transforming and crediting the content that she reacts to (which seems to be happening). Agreed that doxxing is really putting people in danger and not at all okay and needs to be severly punished, not just to stop the perpetrator but to signal to everyone else that the behaviour is not tolerated and neither are the people who do the doxxing.
HOWEVER... the thought I got as soon as you had explained the drama going on (I had not heard of this drama before this video) was that Jacksfilms were being a bit of a hypocrite and nitpicky. As someone who is not subscribed to either CZcamsr but has nevertheless consumed some of their videos over the years and especially so with Jacksfilms, h... he ALSO makes a lot of reacting videos... Sure he makes them more transformative and the content he transforms is usually comments as responses to a prompt he made himself (YIAY - Yesterday I Asked You). Yet it still has the same basic formula of having a noteworthy reaction to what someone else wrote or made. To me it seems like he is picking on his own kind, but just not the ones who are as creatively transformative. Furthermore, reaction-style content innundates every corner of this platform nowadays and arguably has become a universal staple of the modern youtube video. There are explainers/essays, there are projects/pranks or something the CZcamsr does in the video that has the focus and there are videos where the CZcamsr pulls up a view into another CZcams video or a twitter thread or whatever and dscusses that or as SSSniperWolf does, has a very barebones and uninteresting reacts to. THIS very video is of that third kind of video, a reaction video. Does that make this video bad? No. Jack isn't arguing that either but with the genre being so omnipresent you will inevitably have even large content creators that add minimally to the experience of consuming the content from the source. Criticism can be a great thing if it leads to self-reflection and self-improvement but when it comes to unsolicited 'advice' and 'criticism' we all have an upper limit to what we can take. There comes a point when it boils over into harassment, no? criticising a murderer for their murders will not really boil over into harassment but with something comparatively casual and unimportant as reaction videos, I do believe such a limit exists.
I want to reiterate, SSSniperWolf doxxing Jacksfilms is unacceptable and dangerously irresponsible behaviour deserving of a much harsher punishment than she got. I also want to say that I have not seen all of what Jacksfilms has said on SSSniperWolf's content. But don't you think it is ironic, weird and concerning how obsessed he seems to be to call out SSSniperWolf among how many others are guilty of the same behaviour (Yes I know he does not isolate her as the only one but still) for something not all that serious to begin with, for 4 whole months over that fact that CZcams, who we all know are partial to some creators over others, made a statement that insulted Jack's own pride? Get over it and stop hating on people that aren't actually hurting anyone (apart from not crediting people, and of course, the f*cking doxxing).
In an alternate universe where she didn't dox him in a nuclear overreaction, a case could be made against him for being a hater. In the current universe, it barely matters.

I think he was a little much commenting on it because ALOT of people just make nothing content but also he has a solid point people getting money and views for silly content. But her showing up was just an overstep and not a way to communicate it AT ALL

I just wanted to say I am not vegan but I have watched your channel for years, I just enjoy your personality!
I dont necessarily disagree with anything you're saying here, but I do have one general criticism about this. We've all known the kind of content she makes for years and nobody has said anything at all about it, until the topic became a trending one on CZcams. It's unlikely scenario that all CZcamsrs just woke up one day and had the same thought at rhe same time: "let's go after (whoever this youtuber is)". Everyone is talking about it only because it's trending and said absolutely nothing about it before. And that is scary. We shouldn't act like a hive mind, all sharing the exactly same opinions in order to be liked. If someone had a different opinion on this right now, they'd be dogpiled immediately and "canceled". That's even scarier.
CZcams is a company and it is well documented they do not have enough staff to deal with these situations. Strikes, warnigns and take downs happen based on mass flagging. And when its just a differing opinion that costs you your account, it goes from scary to problematic to what is this society? Everyone screams "be yourself, be individual"- but when you do just that you get thrown out of your own community.

Reaction videos can be good if the reactor is adding valuable insight to what’s going on. But most reaction content on CZcams including SniperWolf is soooo lazy and boring.

The problem I have with we can’t eat animals is this. Lets say eating animals is a sin than that would mean when Jesus was telling people to sin no more he lied because he feed people fish which was causing people to sin. That would make him a hypocrite which is exactly what he called the Pharisees for not practice what they teach. This means Jesus sinned then and as a result no one should be in heaven because there is no payment for our sins. If eating animals is wrong then why did Jesus tell people to sin no more but also feed people fish unless Jesus was lying right.
Don't call it a sin then, call it what it is: 'unnecessary suffering' that can by avoided by choosing something different on the menu / in the supermarket.
I am Christian and dont eat meat since I think its unnecessary suffering, no where in the bible does it say you must eat meat or your sinning. And no vegans are calling it a sin to eat meat. Its not a sin to eat a dog but yet i assume you are aganist eating dog.
While I agree that she was wrong to doxx him and should be banned from the plateform, I think it's kinda misogynistic to imply she was not just because she's pretty. You said so earlier yourself: she makes YT a lot of money, I think it's reason enough for them. And implying men have it a lot harder when it comes to consequences of their own actions is very misled, regarding the general impunity they benefit.
I dont necessarily think its because shes a pretty girl but instead of money. She makes youtube way too much money for them to upset her or her audience. I do think as a society though gender does play into how people think its funny or not as big as a a deal as it is because if he showed up to her house saying "I just want to talk it out" it wouldn't have ended without a police report.

Iirc Swayze did a degree in philosophy and I really appreciate her perspectives (even when I disagree!)
I think he was being a balding jealous a-hole, her content is lazy but who has so little of a life that they dedicate two months of content to some girl they supposedly don’t like? Was that just his excuse to watch her videos? Either way what she did goes above and beyond inappropriate and dangerous. Had she maybe put out a well spoken response to his honestly creepy videos, she wouldn’t have been in the wrong. The real villain is CZcams. Constantly doing the wrong thing.

He puts actual thought and effort into his videos. I’m not going to argue that he is a creative genius, but thoughtful criticism of other people’s “work” is completely different from what she’s doing. This is no different than a director having an embarrassing public tantrum over a bad review, except that most directors put 100 times more effort into what they produce than she has ever put into anything.
Sssniper has a very dark past on youtube. Preying on teen boys is probably the worst. Her five years ago vs her now are day and night.

And I believe you already know this which is exactly what is disappointing about it. One person can make bad actions, but it does not negate someone else's own bad actions. Especially not based on "which one is worse", and whether we like which person.
For example: If he doxxed her first would you change your mind and say, oh doxxing is now ok against him? If someone walks to a cow and gets attacked, is it now ok for them to go kill the cow?
You already know these are weak arguments and creates a moral hazard. Regardless of what your beliefs about react content (Which it has its own arguments but doesn't matter here). Even if you view the content as completely morally horrible, I'd hope that it does not give permission to act in uncivil ways towards that person with bias.
I'm personally not interested in the whole "she posted his house online", since we all know that's wrong, wow great job such a genius brave take.
But turning a blind eye to Jack's own actions, his obsessiveness, clear bullying and harassment, entitlement and jealousy among many criticisms and then to say he did nothing wrong, it's laziness at best and at worst dogmatic and intentionally negligent.
You say "reverse the roles", I say imagine if all that came from an unlikable guy like Oni=sion in place of Jack. (btw a guy who was publicly doxxed too and people went to his home filming with his children in there, but there won't be public consequences and people will actually cheer for them, but it's oni=sion so who cares right? lmao)
