Ramiz great video it help me to resolve finaly the misfire issues after 1 year. Already know the solenoid was not great but haven´t made a link between that and the misfires. Now I remove the valve and block the pipes; so is now "stuck closed" , works better on low regine , not so good boosting the engine up. Will order a new solenoid and will be as new! thanks indeed.

Can I remove the other piece in the cylinder head intake port. It seems that there is also a flap there. Would it cause any issues if removed

Thank you for sharing great information. I have the same fault and the vehicle is running at idle end misfire. The 2nd cylinder of the vehicle provides low compression What would you suggest as a solution? Thankyou!

damn good video some owners have remarked the cavd engines suffer from mysterious misfires you'll be changing and cleaning everything yet there will be some misfires happening. I got a question what were the symptoms also did the check engine light come on ?

Is there any chance to remove the flaps? Will the engine run properly after that?

I’m having the same issue all the same codes, runs very rough. I’m yet to look it to it properly. Just wondering how taking all the flaps out would help?

I have the same error P2004, but there are no gaps. Just writes a mistake, there is no check. Where to look, where to start? The car is going great as before. I can't make an adaptation, but the drive test is done and you can hear the flaps clicking.

Hello, How was your compression? I got also blg with misfire p0301 and p301 and lower compression at cyl 1... The car come to me with p3008 cam sensor but it was the stretched timing chain.... Do you think the flaps can change compression?

      Hi
Yes you can do that but first you need to make sure that the flaps are free

Hi do all four flaps move independently or all move the same off one rail ,I have p2006 bank 1 stuck closed cold start misfires .if the vacuum pump that operates the flaps moves wouldn't that mean the runner flaps are opening and closing?

Same code i have.... but when i disconnect the valve/solenoid that sits on the black pipe 2 vaccum pipes the code goes away no misfire codes at all.

      Hi
Take the manifold off and take out the flaps.

@@ramiztheautolocksmith9022 I have bent the flaps back into postion and refitted without any more faults. You do have to be very careful refitting the manifold as its flaps only bent over because they were refitted improperly previously.
