These girls are very blessed and very talented. It's good to see the young raised right and serving the lord!!! This song is close to my heart my brother sang it at the grave site at my mother's funeral. She died almost 41 years ago. I never listened to this song again until just over a year ago. I just came to the Lord 4 1/2 years ago. I put off my walk with the Lord thinking I could make a better way. What a mistake I made! Thank you Lord for your tender kind mercies. I just found your music a few days ago I will continue to listen. You all are a true Blessing from God! Thank you Lord for blessing this family please continue to bless them as they are blessing to others! I ask this In the name of Jesus.

This takes me back over 70 years ago.To hear again the church bells ring out over the Missouri Ozark hills. To cross the clear ice cold creek on the way to church. To open the shape note songbook and sing again.
My wife of 54 years and our four children lived deep in the Ozark hills in Douglas County and attended Evansdale Community church, using the shape note hymnals and accompanied by piano, guitar, mandolin and bass voices separated from sopranos and altos. The Holy Spirit moved in our midst. All this is gone now and I long at 80 years to go home to Heaven. My Judy is waiting there with Jesus.
So soothing for the Soul. Such beautiful singing. I had this song played at my youngest daughter s funeral when they took her out, because one Day we will certainly understand it all by n by. I sure don't right now. Without the LORD I sure couldn't make it. Praise His HOLY NAME.
