Superheroes are often as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and sometimes even as revered as gods. But that's when they're using their powers for good. What happens when the heroes go rogue and start abusing their powers? When it's the powerless against the super powerful, the Boys head out on a heroic quest to expose the truth about the Seven and Vought, the multibillion-dollar conglomerate that manages the superheroes and covers up their dirty secrets. Based on the comic book series of the same name. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
You can tell how lazy he's gotten with his fighting. It's been so long since he's been challenged, he resolves every fight by just looking at the bad guy
Is it just me or did he kill hostages that were just trying to escape?
I don’t think there were any hostages, just a whole ring of drug dealers
@@carsonwood3041 he did 💀!?.. show me the timeline
@@Bertmon1872 1:27
He's not just lazy but sloppy. When Superman (DC) or Cyclops (Marvel) use their eyebeams, they are precise down to the centimeter for what they want to do. Homelander constantly over or undershoots targets leading to the scoring all over the place.
That smile at 1:54 as he crushed the guys head. It's so nice to see people enjoying what they do

Very easy, Supes are criminals
You can see the subtle terror in the soldiers when they saw Homelander kill these guys.
Yes, I see the subtle terror in the subtle, too. 😏
USAF 2W2 and 2W1 here. That was a bit of fiction. Almost all of them wouldn't be reacting this way. He did their job efficiently due to being a God.
@@janus3555 efficient? Homelander caused a whole lot of collateral damage with a lot of his missions, he's a loose cannon
@@mohammedsarker5756 Superman technically caused more damage, death and destruction in Man of Steel. Most Super Heroes have as well.
Targeting him primarily because you don't like him, or you're envious means nothing.
Yeah because they know that if Homelander wanted to kill them that they couldn’t do anything to prevent it.
I'm not usually a fan of low-light scenes, but it actually works really well with this scene. When most of what you can see is Homelander's glowing eyes, and occasionally being lit up by bullets that just bounce right off him, it really sells him as this malevolent and almost unstoppable force. The music too, when you hear him being referred to as a boogeyman.
Those demon eyes are insane.
It’s very Darth Vader at times
@@humanwavetactic2668more like reverse flash eyes
I'm disappointed that we haven't seen a scene where his eyes are glowing in the dark since this.
It's kinda funny, because the song itself is talking about boogey men (men who like to boogey). Rock The Casbah by The Clash. I assume this is a Syrian cover of that song.

These guys trained for this mission and crept through muck and darkness for who knows how long, just to wait outside and listen to terror go on in the building caused by someone who had not a care for any of them besides peddling the compund v
Well I bet this is still better option for them then actually go there and risk being wounded or killed
@@Afdog this might be a foreign concept to you, but these guys actually would've probably been disappointed to not get to conduct their mission. Trust me, I'm a combat vet. Soldiers, especially special operations, genuinely enjoy doing stuff like this.
@@real_reZmi so if you go on a dangerous mission you may be killed but in the last moment they tell you that you’re not needed there you would’ve been genuinely disappointed? Huh, indeed, never thought about that

@@real_reZmi that’s indeed sound crazy, as I can relate with the situation when people are ready to take risks for something bigger, but if that’s not needed than I don’t really get it

Love how even the Soldiers are genuinely disturbed by Homelander, they don’t cheer or praise him for his violence, they simply look at him with fear and disgust but his ego is so big that he can’t even see the genuine disgust those soldiers had in that moment for him.
Not only that but this operation probably took weeks to plan and prepare all just to end in some dude with powers blue balling you by doing your job. Imagine training for a fight for months on end and then at the last moment they bring in Mike Tyson to fight for you
Homes probably knew, he could probably tell by the smell of their sweat or their heartbeat or something
I think he just didn't care. He clearly has a penchant for scaring people shitless
Crazy you say that because those soldiers were just about to do the exact same thing to those people inside, kill them and whatnot so idk why they have the luxury to be horrified.
@@tomotomi2182 because for them it would've been self-defense. Homelander murders those who can't even physically hurt him, Therefore it is NOT self-defense in his case. He even goes out his way to cut two fleeing women down with his lasers. At the end he bisects a man he could have apprehended and let the soldiers interrogate. They just recognize that he is a genuine psychopath.
@@cyr2097 You're so clueless. They attacked Homelander first like idiots, grabbed their guns and started shooting despite knowing that they couldn't do anything, it was their fault to begin with so everything he did to them was self defense no matter how strong Homelander is, you don't lose your right to self defense just because you're a superhero. Oh and for your information Homelander has a lot of sociopathic qualities and not psychopathic, so get your facts straight because you can clearly see that he's not a psycho if you have a shred of knowledge on that stuff.
No fighting skills and no hardwork whatsoever

You know a lot of Superman media likes to do the "dark scene and Superman's eyes begin to glow red" thing when Supes is about to go off on someone, but I honestly the small detail here where Homelander isn't expressing any emotion when his eyes light up. Superman usually is pissed as hell to play up the coolness of the scene, but here Homelander is this violent, unstoppable force with no regard or compassion for his victims.
Now i find it bittersweet the fact that Homelander's catch phrase is paying homage to soldier boy
Fun fact. Soldier Boy was a nickname given to Antony Star in the series Banshee
Man what they did with soldier and homelander was brilliant cause I should have saw the father son angle coming but it didn't dawn on me until a few seconds before the reveal.
Homelander makes you truely appreciate how broken laser eyes are in a way superman never could. Probably cuz he's a complete psycho

There are some Hancock vibes in that line
Goo duh jer buh

Both mean death
Glowing eyes
@@firebottle8402 at least Vader will kill you in most effective way, not tortured like this
Getting killed by Vader in battle would be an honourable death. Getting killed by a man-child like Homelander would be nothing short of a shameless death.

The song is *Rock El Casbah by Rachid Taha*
If there's one thing everyone loves and hates equally, it's this guy. He's so hateable but so relatable it's honestly insane.
Always liked that when homelander was telling people that they’re the real heroes technically he was telling the truth
This scene makes me feel relived this guy doesn't exist in real life. I mean I would be fucking terryfied if a man, capable of flying with lasers and the strength to kill you with a slap, existed
1:19 Person with bright color shining eyes in the dark moments like these are usually cringy. But Homelander looks terrifying
There should be an episode where Homelander suddenly realizes that he's lost all of his super-powers. It would be interesting to see how someone with his level of narcissism and illusions of grandeur psychologically deals with suddenly finding out that he's no longer special and is just an ordinary person.
Literally was gonna happen at the end of S3 until Butcher messed it up
Suicide
Like if they solder boy'd him?
That has to be his ultimate fate. Death would be far too simple. Butcher dies, and he lives in fear.
The finale of the show is probably going to be where Homelander loses his powers. Then he is either going to die or get arrested. Or leave and just never come back.
Homelander just teach Clark how to make laser eyes be more convenient.
