- The juice is loose! #Beetlejuice #Beetlejuice - Only in theaters September 6.
Beetlejuice is back! Oscar-nominated, singular creative visionary Tim Burton and Oscar nominee and star Michael Keaton reunite for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the long-awaited sequel to Burton’s award-winning Beetlejuice.
Keaton returns to his iconic role alongside Oscar nominee Winona Ryder (Stranger Things, Little Women) as Lydia Deetz and two-time Emmy winner Catherine O’Hara (Schitt$ Creek, The Nightmare Before Christmas) as Delia Deetz, with new cast members Justin Theroux (Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi, The Leftovers), Monica Bellucci (Spectre, The Matrix films), Arthur Conti (House of the Dragon) in his feature film debut, with Emmy nominee Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, Scream VI) as Lydia’s daughter, Astrid, and Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe (Poor Things, At Eternity’s Gate).
Beetlejuice is back! After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia's life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it's only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice's name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.
Burton, a genre unto himself, directs from a screenplay by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar (Wednesday), story by Gough & Millar and Seth Grahame-Smith (The LEGO® Batman Movie), based on characters created by Michael McDowell & Larry Wilson. The film’s producers are Marc Toberoff, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Tommy Harper and Burton, with Sara Desmond, Katterli Frauenfelder, Gough, Millar, Brad Pitt, Larry Wilson, Laurence Senelick, Pete Chiappetta, Andrew Lary, Anthony Tittanegro, Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg executive producing.
Burton’s creatives behind the scenes includes director of photography Haris Zambarloukos (Meg 2: The Trench, Murder on the Orient Express); such previous and frequent collaborators as production designer Mark Scruton (Wednesday), editor Jay Prychidny (Wednesday), Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood (Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Sleepy Hollow), Oscar-winning creature effects and special makeup FX creative supervisor Neal Scanlan (Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and Oscar-nominated composer Danny Elfman (Big Fish, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman); and Oscar-winning hair and makeup designer Christine Blundell (Topsy-Turvy).
A Warner Bros. Pictures presentation, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will be released only in theaters and IMAX on September 6, 2024 nationwide, and internationally beginning 4 September 2024. It will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
The dude has not been playing this character for 36 years and in one sentence makes me nostalgic and extremely happy to see him
Well, he and Tim Burton have remained close friends for all those years, even though they haven't worked together professionally very much. So with the wig, makeup, and familiar costume, it was probably very easy for him to slip right back into the role's mindset.
Beautifully said!
Same with I'm batman in the flash trailer 🔥
And what a perfect line. I was expecting “it’s showtime” but “the juice is loose” is so much more hilarious.
Normie
It took Michael Keaton 36 years to grow his head back for this part again.
If you know, you know. Very sharp...😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Very underrated comment lol😂😂😂😂😂😂
Haha🤣😂
😂😂😂
I love how they called it “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” instead of “Part 2”.
If there’s a part three, Michael Keaton is going to be EXTREMELY busy!
I've always wondered the rules in this regard. Do the 3 have to be said in rapid succession or does the 3rd time have an unlimited limit? Like that's how he gets summoned, Lydia finally says the third Beetlejuice years later.
@@DeathBYDesign666 I wonder if they'll explain that this time. In the musical, the rule was that his name had to be said three times in succession with nothing else in between.
😅😊😊
I reckon they would call it Beetlejuice:Three times a charm.
the name has to be said 3 times unbroken. I believe its a thing to keep people from just accidently summoning someone like Betelgeuse by the mere mention of the name but if you say it 3 times unbroken then you are purposely calling for someone.
I just want to appreciate that they actually took the effort to get the original actors and director and make this a proper sequel, not a reboot or spin-off.
“The juice is loose”
Only line in the trailer, and it’s PERFECT
It’s showtime! Should have been the line, they tried at least
For OJ Simpson perhaps.

From the trailer it seems they're making a horror movie, which is a disappointing and dumb decision
Hopefully they don’t make it woke where Beetlejuice is reduced to a cuck and his wife is the star of the movie
The music, all around creepy tim burton vibe, the themes. Can he recreate all of that? Well have to wait and see.

The interesting thing with Keaton reprising his role is that his age actually adds to the character. He looks more like what you expect Beetlejuice should look like. In the original you can tell that he was a younger man that they were trying to make look old and ragged. Now he’s actually at the appropriate age for the character.
yeah and whats even cooler is he could play it again if this takes off

I never even thought about that, but yeah I guess you're right, maybe that's why they didn't bother de-aging him or anything. So much work went into it, if it bombs I will feel bad for everyone involved. The Flash was horrible and it bombed. I'm sure Keaton knew it would bomb, too. I really hope this is good. Big part of my childhood.
Even if this sequel bombs (younger generation), people who grew up with it back in 1988 & the 90's will thoroughly enjoy this ride!
Nope! Sucks 😊
Looks like beetlejuice claimed the juice.
Bringing back as much of the original cast, is the way sequels are meant to be.
Okay, the reason I think this COULD be good is because they've actively been trying to make this film since the original came out (so it's not just some company reviving an IP out of the blue for a quick buck, it's something with actual pre-existing passion invested in it). I also think the fact Beetlejuice has so little screentime in the original, yet so much more unexplored potential as a character, is an opportunity ripe for another story featuring him. Fingers crossed Burton can break his bad streak with this one.
In Tim Burton’s defense, I thought Big Eyes was good.
Also Wednesday
Plus it’s Tim Burton and all the original people in it. Excited
he broke his bad streak with Wednesday technically. this movie is just a further reminder that he still got it🙌🏽
Not really. Those were much different variations. The initial sequel was Beetlejuice in Hawaii so nah. This is a more recent idea.
I never thought an eerie children's choir version of the Banana Boat song would give me chills, but here we are.
That was my fav bit from the original film.
They better have the guy on the coat hanger make a cameo again!
I hope Beetlejuice still has his zest for "life" and optimistic spirit, not somber and ruined like Disney made Luke Skywalker.
90's kids are tearing up with joy
And 80's kids too 😊
All the kids 😂
80s!
I’m going to wait to actually see it first before we get there. Hollywood has broke my heart too many times.
any kid that saw the first movie.. no matter what age they are now.
As an 80's kid, I have NEVER been so excited for a movie in my life! This trailer is so good! I can't wait!!
I know right? This movie and Burton’s other early movies were all over my childhood!! Movies were my refuge from my fd up life. Cant wait for this !!
Ghostbusters Frozen Empire and THIS!!! so stoked!!
Daylight come and you want to go...
Same here. I might be more excited if they remade the Goonies BUT they couldn't because you'd need new kids and that would ruin it so better to just leave the Goonies alone as the masterpiece it is.
@@JaceD4V1S88 I agree. THESE ARE THE ACTORS AND MOVIES people want to see. I hope Warner Bros and other film companies make note and make movies people want to see again!
The juice is loose. Nope OJ just died
So happy they brought back Catherine O' Hara
So the funeral is for Lydia's dad?
@@w415800 Yeah it is, if you pause at the right time around 0:21 you can see a picture of Jeffrey Jones
@@JoshuaVideoStudios I'm glad they included him in some very small way, despite his legal issues
@@stevenedwards8353same didn't know he had legal trouble but I am glad they aren't just forgetting about him but I'm also interested to know based off the end of movie when does Baldwin and Geena Davis characters finally decide to stop being in the home or are they not going to be mentioned
@@stevenedwards8353why ? hes a pedophile he needs to stay in the trash 🚮
Michael Keaton's enthusiasm when he says "The Juice is loose." That smile and character from him looked like it hasn't changed a bit, incredible.
True! Looking forward to it. Just hoping it's not too woke.
Am I taking crazy pills? That line to me felt like it severely lacked enthusiasm. The delivery is sad and flaccid.
@@wck Sounds like classic Beetlejuice to me.
@@drutter maybe go rewatch how bettlejuice is introduced in the original. This definitely ain't it.
@@wck Sure it is. Besides, it's not supposed to be a remake, it's a sequel, set decades after the first. It shouldn't be identical. The character is the same, but the plot and dialogue are not.
I been loving Beetlejuice for years so seeing this trailer just made my day. THIS IS THE NEXT STEP TO PEAK CINEMA
0:55 When you're having explosive diarrhea in the school bathroom
Beetlejuice: "I'M BACK....! It's showtime!"
He’s backkkkkkkk!
The juice is loose.
The ghost with the most!!
SHOWTIME 🎬💚
Beetlejuce, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!
It’s really been 36 years? I wasn’t even born yet when the first one came out lol. Michael Keaton’s still got it, and Jenna has been on a roll over the last few years. In the words of Beetlejuice, “It’s showtime!” what about the *AMV22X* project you in it?
100% 𝔤𝔬𝔬𝔤𝔩𝔢 that!
if you 𝔤𝔬𝔬𝔤𝔩𝔢 it you will be happy lol
I was this was back in the 80s. 😎👍
I lived to see the cartoon series. I'm a Dinosaur by comparison. 💀👍
@@DTWX I was born in 1956 and turned 68 this year; DINO POWER!!!
Omggggg Beetlejuice was a childhood classic! He still has the voice ❤❤
The juice is loose. One line and boom I'm remembering the nostalgia of when I was 6 and my first time watching beetlejuice
After 36 years, Beetlejuice has finally returned!
so as Batman did :)
I'm 43. I haven't been this excited in about 20 years
41 here got this stoked for Top Gun Maverick
64 and feel like a kid going to the drive in
Hilarious
46 and feeling it too
This is like if they brought back Saturday morning Cartoons original 80s line up

I love when he said "it's juicin' time!"
I can't believe they really did a haunting reprise of "Day-o" 🤣👏 So stoked
