"Adai" - "Daididau" from his channel, if you want to see him playing dombra.
I'm looking forward to Samal Tau (Tokyo Jazz Festival 2020). There are most interesting instruments.
But for Dimash playing besides piano it's the Dombra on Daididau.
The only other song I know Dimash playing piano is in duet with Zarina "Question of Honor".
Fun fact. Only his hands are shown on camera so most viewers didn't realize it was Dimash playing.
I like how every Dimash reaction now involves a background game of Capture the Pillow. 😆

He plays 6-7 instruments, sings in 12 languages, speaks fluently in native and Russia. His singing in Italian, Chinese, Russia are my fav, pronunciation is so good!
This is a song contest for professional and established singers, not amateur ones. Unlike The Voice, xfactor or got talent contests. For instance, one of participants was a singer who sang at the opening ceremony of 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Just to give you some idea of the level of singers who Dimash competed with. He took second place, just because a contest took place in China, and he was the only non-Chinese participant there and letting him would be unacceptable
The following year, Jessie J won the contest although some believe that Hua Chenyu should have won. Based on what i gathered, it was the first time that a non-Chinese in the person of Jessie J occupied the first spot and many are of the opinion that the program did what they had to do inorder to disprove the allegation that Dimash did not win because he is not a Chinese. This was cause by the fact that when Dimadh lost, the fans souted for an E X P L A N A T I O N. If what I read from other sources are accurate, heads got rolled when Dimash dit not get the top spot, but the organizers shifted the blame to the audience.
Samaltau - Tokyo Jazz Festival is really one you need to listen to with headphones no stopping until done. Then you hear a stripped down Dimash performance that is awesome.
Samaltau iś really good choice if you want to see other side of Dimash's talant.
Fun fact: Dimash didn't win the first place in this singing contest "The Singer" or "I am Singer" whatever...he got second place. Thanks to that he can go places and gain his fandom.

Due to the rule of the program that season, no other foreign singer can win, they changed that rule in a year after when Jessie joined that season after Dimash did!

The reason he didn’t win coz the competition according to the vote of audiences.
All of them are already famous singers in Asian, the lady who won 1st, is famous singer and actress from Hong Kong over 3x years, you can imagine how many fans she got.
And she’s over 5x years old, but Dimash only 23 years old when he joined this competition as a wild card to challenged them all.
In this way, no doubt he already won all of them as my opinion.
Dimash is a vocalist, composer, arranger, multi instrumentalist, co-director of his own MV....
The suit is the colour of the Kazakhstan flag. I think it gave him even more confidence.
After his performance he got congratulations from Lara Fabian, one of his idols and began a great colaboration with her ! Mademoiselle Hyde (from Lara's repertoire, Ti amo cosi (with Aida Garifullina and Lara Fabian) and the last but not least Your love - Igor Krutoy the music, Lara Fabian the lyrics and Dimash Kudaibergen the singer a song from F2 to F6 !
If youvil hear Dimash not widt a piano but alone with 2 fellow countrymen with old instruments se Tokyio Jazz festival a beutyfull song called Samaltau. Epic and at the same time intimete.

Dimash "ALL BY MYSELF version, his "ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS original song. And his "YOUR LOVE" Original song.
Dimash isn't playing the instruments, but Samaltau from the Tokyo Jazz Festival features two musicians playing traditional Kazakhstani instruments in Dimash's personal studio. It's a Kazak folk song about WWII Russia taking Kazak men for the war. It's considered by many reactors to be one of his strongest performances.

You need to watch, 'Daididau' where he plays the Kazakh version of the guitar. He is learning to play the guitar probably has already mastered it. He as of the making of this show played 8 instruments. Just to let you know, Dimash finished second. Thanks you two for another fun reaction.
P.S. There is a 14 year old singer that Dimash has endorsed. Her name is Daneliya Tuleshova and she is going to be something very special, actually already is. If you want her latest effort she sings a cover of 'Arcade' by Duncan Laurence. She was a finalist on this years AGT. Then in the finals where the voodoo voting takes place she was voted out. Up to that point she had won every post performance weekly poll by huge margins. I mean every week she was getting 92-97% he vote. She also won the Billboard New Star award at the end of the season across all the Got Talent franchises. There is more but I'd be boring you or showing off neither is an acceptable outcome. Just give her a listen and see if you hear what I hear when she sings.Thanks for considering my request.

You thought Dimash was done, but no he brings it up another level. This is one of his most passionate performances and I hold my breath every time. He is just so incredible and puts it all out there. This is in my top 5.

Well, if you really want to know who he was competing against, you can check out Terry Lin, who Dimash calls Papa Lin, his impromptu mentor amongst the participants. Asia has crazy high vocal standards, they study it in Contemporary Arts at university.
"Breathtaking" is really the right word. I hadn't realized you hadn't gotten around to this one yet, so glad you finally did. I consider it to be one of the most spectacular vocal performances in music history.
For anyone who is new to Dimash fandom or anyone else who doesn't know, we serious Dears have gotten him to #1 in requests on MTV's youtube channel Friday Livestream. We've kept him there for three weeks in a row but came within 30 minutes of failing him last week before a furious last minute surge of requests from those of us who were there to the end. We need the support of a few more Dimash Dears in order to keep him at the top where he wants and deserves to be. Anyone who can help should tune into the livestream every Friday from 5-8 pm New York time and type REQUEST DIMASH as many times as possible in the chat to the right of the streaming video during the three hours the program is airing. It's the least we can do for Dimash after all the joy with which he has provided us.

This is a Chinese reality show called I am a singer, it came in second place! Because? because he's from Kazakhstan, so a (actually good) Chinese singer named Sandy Lam won

This performance is a cover of Lara Fabian's song, but the origins are in the late 1950s when Remo Giazotto published the tune allegedly based on a fragment of baroque composer Tomaso Albinoni.
You said that this was an intense performance. But probably even more intense is Dimash's amazing cover of Queen's / Freddie Mercury's The Show Must Go On. Be aware that that was his first time singing in English and he learned the lyrics phonetically, so his pronounciation is a bit off sometimes. The vocals, however, are more than splendid.

Dimash is fantastic.....have you heard of a young singer by the name of ANGELINA JORDAN.?...We call her THE BAREFOOT PRINCESS....She has 100+ songs on you tube...SHE won NORWAY GOT TALENT WHEN SHE WAS 8 yo BACK IN 2014......She is 15 yo now....i am sure you will love her like we all do!!!

Also you can react "Daybreak", but you need to check this story too. You can mix too perfomances of "Daybreak" in one reaction. The first one is more dramatic from Gloria Wu's chanel where you can find all information and subtitles. The second one is from "Bastau" (Dimash'es first solo concert) - to my mind, it is the best perfomance of Dimash for all times!
This song really shocked me. I had listened to it like a hundred times until I suddenly noticed, that there was a choir in the background!!? I hadn`t noticed it before and felt so stupid and confused. After a while it was just hilarious. I really didn`t hear them until after so many times. Can you imagine having been there?

On the singer show he did a Michael Jackson tribute playing drums and from the bastau concert he Adai+Daididau is very impressive playing his national instrument.
Thanks guys for the great reactions. Dimash actually was first recognized for his Piano skills. He won his first award at 5 yrs. old for the piano. It was soon there after that the World discovered he had the "Best Voice Ever". Please keep on doing your great reactions. Maybe you can start including Pentatonix.
