I’ve been fortunate enough to have been working a hail storm in Clarksville TN for the past 2 months. Handled about 200 claims so far but it’s looking like it’s coming to an end. Before that I had 1 deployment for a wind storm in January that only lasted a couple of weeks. It’s looking to be a good year for me. We will see what the Atlantic brings this hurricane season.
@rrrod411 Definitely related to Weather events. Since hurricane Debby went through, I’ve been very busy. It just happens in cycles. Carriers will try to do without IAs and go to third-party or in-house adjusters, but they will always cycle around back to IAs, because we do a better job. I’ve seen this several times.
You're not alone, its been slow for me too. My state even had 4" of rain one day and another day with 60 mph straight line winds. I think I received 8 claims total combined from those storms. It's been like this before. I know it will get better. The question is just how long until it does?
@joeldude76 Appreciate the comment, I thought I was in the only State that was slow! haha It is not normal to be this slow, so I am thinking that it will pick up. This is the first time it has been this slow for me. It can only get better from here!!

Daniel do you think this is due to not a lot of weather events or carriers moving away from using IAs?

@@danieltheadjuster For sure! I remember maybe 5 years ago getting about 1 or 2 claims a week. That was miserable lol.
@@danieltheadjuster Come to think of it. A few weeks ago, I believe, was my slowest week ever. I only received 1 claim!
