Like your video, I’m experimenting with the max torque clutches 11 and 12 tooth with 66 and 60 rear sprockets. The shoes that were in your stock clutch are the same as the shoes in clear bag in your video they engage later and are like swapping out for a stiffer spring. They are called the light shoe or stock SS shoe at 46 grams stock depending on blade thickness used to cut a cut shoe averages around a 2 gram lose from cut around 44 grams. The heavy shoe called the wedge shoe is 64 grams stock 62 after cut in half. A stock set of wedge shoes will engage 200 rpm quicker than the stock SS shoe. You can mix three of each shoes as long as you balance them out in weight. Light heavy light etc. or cut non cut cut etc. or a little off both weights and cut shoes all this with different colored springs you can really dial it in. I plan to test these combos this upcoming year and will keep you posted on results if you like.

I dont think its that the new shoes you bought are lighter for better performance....Its the point that the shoes are already cut...which you can cut your stock shoes with gaining performance as well

I forget how many grams they are each and or if there made from a different material. But there is definitely a performance gain

The less weight the better in the clutch

A performance centrifugal clutch will absolutely never have the same torque as a torque converter that costs 60 bucks.
30 series has more top end than a centrifugal clutch about 90% of the time if you have more than 5hp.
A 4.8:1 gear with 8hp will push a bike to over 50mph at about 5500 rpm, with dumb acceleration.
Also lighter shoes means the engine has to rev higher to start engaging. Unless you put in stiffer springs to offset the shoe weight loss.

The kind of money people spend on CC's when you could just buy a 3D manual clutch for less.

3D manual clutch. Literally the best clutch you can get for less than a bully.

I don’t understand stages and it would depend on your mods and what your actually wanting to do with the bike
