Ps…. I’ve had this camera stored in case without battery for many years and wasn’t sure if film or if battery 2CR5 6 volt lithium were still available, or if mine actually works. I presume it does, otherwise I’d thrown it away.
Would you happen to know why one wouldn’t turn on?
I’ve put new batteries in and a new film but the power button won’t turn it on.
I'm having a similar issue. Did you find a fix? Mine seems to have an error flash on the back LCD - flashing "IE"
@@Charper0 I have this same camera but haven’t used it in many years. Per the instructions booklet, when [ E, 1E, 2E, 3E display ] is displayed, press the ON/OFF button once to turn OFF and press it again to turn ON. If the display still remains even after this operation, take the camera to a Canon Service Facility. 8-27-2022 Cell phones now have really great cameras that make these obsolete but still good for children that cannot have a cellphone 📲 just yet. Also a good learning experience on how to take pictures 🌻🌸🌹
8-27-2022…….. Mattie, I have this same camera, but haven’t used it in many years. Booklet says that if you have error codes, or it won’t turn on, to take it to a Canon Service Center or Facility.
