Rebuilding Damaged Ford 8 inch Rear End. Upgrading to Traction Lock and 3.55 Gears.

  • The 1966 Mustang rear end that I'm going to install in my 1950 Jeepster has something very wrong inside. I'm pretty sure it is rebuildable so while I'm at it, I will install a new traction locker and 3.55 gears.

    I had a quick performance build my 8-in I could have did it myself I just didn't feel like getting into all that kind of mess pressing bearings and everything I rather just pay a professional fortunately I had money at the time so that's off to you sir

    I totally appreciate the time people take to make an instructional video, but it seems to me that you wouldn’t fast forward and edit out important steps of the assembly process like in this video related to the pinion gear assembly, as little as I know this is probably the most important step in getting the correct gear mesh pattern. Maybe I’m wrong, but at least I got some referenced reading material.
