I purchased a 1966 289 Ford small block engine that was built for a Mustang. The seller changed his mind and sold it with only 1500 miles on a fresh, high end, rebuild. He had the timing set wrong and he used really long spark plug wires. I will set the #1 piston position for the timing and cut each spark plug wire to fit nice and tidy.

    I have two questions. Where are you hook in the clean City water to fill up your clean tank do you worry about that line I know I know you shouldn't be worried about the actual tank itself because you drained the tank but the lines going into that tank. My other question I have a brand new electric gas tankless water heater and it seems to not cycle the water through the hot water tank unless I turn the tap on pretty high and there is electricity and propane turned on. It's almost like it skips the hot water tank. Do you think I should turn on the power and propane? I know this stuff smells like vodka is there any chance it's flammable? I just want to be sure I can get all of the water out of that tank.

    Hello Ride Rescue, I had the same dilemma trying to decide if my Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7 Hemi with 4 side air suspension will tow Grand Design Reflection 100 Series Half Ton Towable model 22RK. The specs on my truck is Transmission A8 8HP70; Axle Ratio 3.92; GVWR 6900; Payload 1690; Base weight numbers are Total: 5211.88; which comprise of 2979.3 for the front and 2232.52 for the rear. GAWR for front 3,700 and back 3,900. GCWR is 15,950 with a max trailer weight of 10,300. Oh, one other thing my truck has a BDS 4" lift system with 35 tires. Not sure if this will affect my choice in a 5th Wheel or not. I have towed a 6x12 Uhaul trailer with weighing in at 8,300 pounds at the weighing station. The hitch I was planning to use is an Anderson Hitch to fit over a B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit . I was advised by the RV dealership that many of their customer went this route as it's cost efficient and easy to use, oh I have electronic trailer break control toll-haul. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    • @riderescue
      @riderescue Před 7 dny

      I wanted the under-bed gooseneck mount but as a DIY guy I found that the bed would need to be removed to do the job. The cost is also much higher for the under-bed set up. I am very pleased with my in bed rail mount and my truck pulls the 5th wheel great. I hit the scales at numbers that fit my truck too.

    Ive been burning out stumps for over 20 years on my hobby farm in the Missouri Ozarks. I have done pretty much the same thing you did except for a few things. First, i bore holes at 4-6 points on the radius of the stump with a long bit extender for a forstner or auger bit at least 3/4 - 1” diameter. I also start about 6-9” above ground level with these holes and aim at a common point well below ground level and aimed toward a common center point. I fill the holes up with used motor or hydraulic oil and give it several hours to soak in. Then its easy and safe to torch it off. Ill come back 8-12 hours later with a good strong leaf blower and blow off the burned charred wood and heat things up. Ill return and do the leaf blower number the next morning and by the end of day 2 there’s nothing but a hole in the ground. Sometimes if the stump is very large (over 3’) it might take a third day of burning but most stumps 2’ or smaller are history after one day. That chimney effect works very well. Thanks for your good video.

    Another video showed the screws that hold the pump to the bottom of the tub were loose; take out the bottom rack, the filter and the cover plate, then tighten the screws; this can be done without pulling the dishwasher out; the sensor will have to be dried out before the code will clear though, and that requires pulling the unit out and turning it on it's side; so for you product engineers out there you can use this as a guide: instead of making something that doesn't leak, just add a leak sensor that shuts the product down! I've never seen a dishwasher that needed a catch pan & leak sensor, the designers must have known that it was going to leak and this was their solution, Amazing!!!
