    Stretching and doing it properly for an hour plus is so Underated.
    Didn't know how crippled my body was and what it was capable of/how it's supposed to feel.

    Playing extreme metal is a strenuous activity. Better treat it like that and think like an athlete if you want to do it for as long Rutan.

    The 2 hour warmup makes sense. However, I didn't know that yoga, stretching, and meditation were needed for playing techinical death metal. That explains why I can't play it because i do none of that 🤔

      Sure, but you agree that it's not something that's talked about often. Most guitarists talk about what they warm up with on the guitar, but not sleep, exercise, and so on. Those indirectly make an impact on achieving a consistent performance.

    I get warming up but I can’t imagine needing to for 2 hours…
