I was convinced I was going to have to replace my heating element, but I just had some plumbing work done and they had shut the breaker off for a bit, I went and checked and it was tripped only half as you mentioned! I have an old house (1945). Thank you for saving the day! I was about to start taking the whole dryers apart and start replacing parts!

THANK YOU! My husband had flipped down the breaker box switch & hadn't returned it. I spent 45 minutes diagnosing, cleaning & watching videos... but I finally called LG. They sent me this video & when I heard it may be a breaker box issue, I immediately knew that had to be it. I recalled hearing the recognizable squeak of the door. Viola! Thanks LG & Clark 👍👍

I’m a single mom of four, so any cheap fix tips I would greatly appreciate. Also I’ve also pulled out the dryer took off the back tin hose connection and vacuumed everything out and as far down the vent I could. I will do the outside vent today too. Hi, I've been hoping someone might have an idea how to troubleshoot my LG dryer issue. I've got a fairly new LG dryer equipped with flow sense. The issue I'm having is within the past few weeks, the dryer isn't drying clothes and shutting off a cycle after only approximately five minutes. Initially, I was getting the flow sense error when I tried troubleshooting with ThinQ. After cleaning out the vents, taking the dryer completely apart and cleaning it out, we then went a step further and paid a service to inspect the ductwork only to find out it was completely clean. I even replaced the moisture sensor and still have the same issue. Whenever I run the ThinQ diagnostic, comes back clear. Wondering if you have any other ideas for troubleshooting that I could try. Thank you for your help!

We had the same issue as well but then after about of months after buying the dryer it completely stopped running heat 😵😔… after two months of waiting to get a technician out to come look at it they though it was the fuse that turns the heating element off and on so they replaced it and the heating element just in case …. The dryer is heating now but !! It’s still not fully drying the clothes but I have noticed it’s like fighting itself … the cool setting is always on an I personally think this is the issue … I’ve only had the dryer run now for two days or so and I have to force it to fully dry the clothes by putting it on two outs of speed dry 🤦🏼‍♀️ pretty sure it will go out soon again … we will see but maybe check and see if you are having that cool setting running threw the full dry cycle as well I’m starting to think this is a manufacturing issue with a lot of these dryers … I see a lot of it but no one has been able to resolve the issue so far that I have see the LQ thinQ app says my dryer is fine and it’s not throwing a code even when I had no heat 😶… will report if it is fixed or if it goes out again

Hi! The temperature a dryer reaches depends on the make and model of the dryer, as well as the setting at which the dryer is running. Your dryer uses heat to warm the water in your clothes and turn it into vapor. On average, most dryers can get around 125 to 135 degrees Fahrenheit. ^Nolito

When I use normal/sensor dry it was running perfectly and was hot. Now it's not heating unless I turn off energy saver which is it's default. Note, that was not an issue in the past. Manual low heat is not heating but high heat is. I love my LG products, but I can't get a person on the phone to check it and it has the smart diagnostic capability.

@@LGUSASupport I did reset the breaker. But it’s seem like not the reason dryer don’t work properly. It’s rolling too long and do not dry the clothes 100%. I am think it’s That thermomstat or humidity sensorbar. But I don’t know how to test it.

I am running myh dryerfor two hours without any heat, what gives? You are wearing out my clothes This is bs LG! my old sety were wonderful and lasted 18 years without a problem. It uses less water and takes twice as long, the frame and body panel, and the door move in and out as if there was no supporting structure, there probably isn't.
