Interesting quote. Off topic, but it reminded me of the Harry Potter series. I personally preferred all three of the main characters together as friends… never sat right with me that Hermione ended up with Ron or people saying she ‘should’ have ended up with Harry, like she was inevitably going to end up with one or the other 🤔
One of my fave friendships in fiction is Sam and Frodo from LoTR. In terms of anime, I really like JJK’s main trio dynamic, where they all just seem really good friends.

@@animeproblem1070 Ah, Shinoa? I really liked her and Yu together in the early days, especially in the anime (I was anime- only for a long time). But lately it feels so one-sided to me 🤔 ch 110 suggests Yu is still clueless about her feelings. It’s kinda sad as I have a real soft spot for Shinoa. I like her weird sense of humour, and she’s been through hell too in her own way. She ‘deserves’ to be happy (like all the kids in this story tbh).
Quite honestly, tho, I think Yu is likely to die in the end and shippers like me will end up looking fools as we cry our eyes out 😁 But at least we can say we had fun while it lasted!
I love Ashera and Yu’s scenes together when Ashera is digging into Yu’s mind. Some of the best scenes in the manga. You’re right that Ashera seems to actually recognise Yu’s flaws and calls him out: ‘use your brain or you won’t save anyone in the end’. We need more of King Ashera 👍
I feel bad for Ashera and Krul they had a traumatizing past no wonder why they have that trust issue's kind of behavior in the present and as for Yu he hated vampire's so much until he found that Mika turned into a vampire and Krul was the one who turned Mika into a vampire. In (Chapter 51) Yu decided to save Ferid and Krul from their exposure punishment, In (Chapter 47) Yu, Mika, The Squad and Narumi decided to trust Ferid and Crowley and went in the Bus which Ferid found, In (Chapter 52) again Yu, Mika and the other's decided to go inside Ferid's masion with Crowley. In (Chapter 61) Guren Squad, Shinoa Squad and the others went to save Ferid and Krul but they only managed to save Ferid at that time.
And last but not the least Shinoa Squad, Yu and Mika decided to on Ferid's truck in (chapter 110). This all mean's that Yu and Mika decided to put a little trust on the Vampire's only to find out that they both were being manipulated under Guren's plan again. In (Chapter 115). Ferid already knew what the plan was from the start while Krul and Crowley did not know the plan but going according to Guren's plan and are ready to stop Yu and restrain him.
I forgot to mention that Yu and Mika also had a traumatizing past they both were being manipulated from the start and till now they are still being manipulated. Why cant they get their own freedom?! 😢
@@urubayameen7107 it’s a good point that Krul and Ashera are kind of victims in Guren/Ferid’s plan too as they’re being manipulated because they don’t have all the information 🤔 The only problem is they’re kind of going along ‘willingly’ with it…
That hurt so much to think that Yu has been betrayed not just by the humans, but also by the vampires he hated so much, and yet was willing to place his trust in for the sake of the Plan 😰
Yu needs a hug so badly. Mika, give the poor boy a hug already!
I hope the vampires will be able to find their own freedom, along with Mika and Yu in the end 😢

He did! I thought it was some kind of drug that would stop Shikama being able to trace him

Mika isn’t actually a Black Demon! He’s something entirely new and different, it was mentioned a few times by different characters when Mika was turning into a Demon. What makes it even more curious is that Shikama is ALSO not a Black Demon and they were definitely not turned with Yuu’s blood. And Mahiru IS a Black Demon, but, as we know, she’s different from other Black Demons bc she became a Demon by absorbing another Black Demon, Noya. So I also believe that all Apostles were turned with Yuu’s blood. They all had to be compatible with Yuu for some reason? 🤔
Oh yeah Shikama for sure is a different entity completely; I figured Mika must be some kind of mix- but I thought Guren said Mika was turning into a black demon at the end of ch 90? Or maybe this is just Guren with his expert calculations again 😂 it’s possible Guren doesn’t understand exactly what Mika is either. I have literally no idea about Mahiru- I need to know what she is. That weird scene when demon Mika went back and saw Ferid murdering the orphans and current Mahiru was watching him was so bizzarre. It’s like she can cross into Mika’s memories which I don’t think we’ve seen other demons do (except for their hosts).
Just checked and you’re right, Mika is said to be a Black Demon, I guess I completely forgot about that, sorry 😅
But then I guess it’s true that the fact that he turned into a full vampire by drinking Yuu’s blood might’ve made him a Black Demon!
About Mahiru: I don’t think it was current her in Mika’s memories of becoming a vampire?? She knew that Mika would become a demon from the very beginning, she also can leave Guren whenever she wants and Mika in that chapter said “She WAS there too?” and he didn’t talk to her in his memories or anything, she also said “Have you seen me in the memories yet?” meaning she didn’t actually know if he saw her, she seemed to be just a part of that memory 🤔

The thing with Mahiru is so confusing, because I swear she was also looking directly at current demon Mika in that same memory?
When I first read it, I thought Mika was watching past-Mahiru, who was present when the orphan kids were being killed; but then Mahiru looked/smiled at current demon Mika? Very weird.
Theory: Death of Guren by Salt King in 118th chapter

I had similar hopes for ch 108, and we got teenage (demon) Mika back, so hopefully something good happens in 118 too!
Unless you're obsessed with Guren you're not gonna enjoy Catastrophe especially if you're female
agree but noya was in it so i liked those chapters
Haha, yes, the simping ‘bodyguards’ would be one of my main gripes about Catastrophe😅
I enjoyed the bits with Shinya , Kureto being Kureto, and Mahiru is interesting too. It’s just not enough to outweigh the problems I had with the story.
