I believe that EDC has stacked the cb room sufficiently to endure injuries and just resting Marlo. Cb depth is very valued here, but so are stars.
I believe so. Like you said, he was great in 22 and is only going on 28. Last year, he was battling injury, but I see no reason for a drop off this season. The defense finished number one without much contribution from Marlo. That's the only issue I can see for him and his salary.
I think he can definitely return to form this year. People tend to downplay just how much injuries can affect someone's ability to play at a high level

He Still Got It
2022 wasn't that long ago, and he had some nice games last year. I haven't seen the version that was cooked by Jamar Chase in much longer than I saw the version I like
I think Marlo in the slot can still be elite , I got my doubts of him 1 on 1 situations on the outside. But based on last year bsteve is our cb1.
Marlo is still capable of being an all pro. His health is an unfortunate situation. He is clearly not washed, he just needs to get completely healthy and get more rest. Seems like he gets worn down easier than before.
I think Marlon takes a reduce role and based on his demeanor I think he'd take a pay cut too to stay with the team like a Jimmy Smith if Nate Wiggins lives up to expectations and with B Stephens building on last season plus marlo extremely physical so he's always gonna be nicked up that why depth is important our DB room is hi-key deep IYKYK
I'm not ready to give up on him just yet, no way. However, he's got to get healthy. We did see some of that All-Pro Marlo this year, against Detroit, Seattle, San Francisco, and Jacksonville.
We drafted to CBs for a reason. I personally think Humphrey doesn't have the speed to guard #1 receivers anymore. Stephens is clearly CB1 he stepped up, and it showed all season. Eventually, Humphreys will be in the slot at some point cause Wiggins is going to play a lot. Tampa Jr. is CB 4 for now, and pepe and Washington might not even make the team. Also, we need to restructure his contract. I want to keep him on the team because he is a high-level corner when healthy, but that money can be used elsewhere. Will be top 5 in defense efficiency.
I love Marlon… but he probably needs to be slow played into the defense.
Wiggins, Maulet, T.J. Tampa and K. Hamilton can all play inside…
Marlon can play outside with B. Stephens on the boundary.
The secondary has a lot of talent.
I think keeping him under 75% of plays would be good for him and the rest of the young DBs to get quality reps too!

Havent seen ravens shadow receivers with a corner since jimmy smith in 2013, but with b steve & wiggins & tampa, I think its time marlon shadows teams #1 receiver. Best corner on the team and he can play at a high level in the slot. What you think about marlon shadowing teams #1s?

3 deep balls completed hardly indicates a weakness. His coverage grades and statistics are good to great in 22.
