I could cry! I did your front door method with my wild 5 year old labradoodle who PUUUUULLS on walks so badly she hurts my hands. In just a few minutes, she was walking without pulling and checking in with me. I can't wait to see how she continues to improve as I use your methods! Thank you!!!!
Man, you have truly given me hope on what a thought was an impossible dog. You are the first trainer I found in YT whose methods are easy to follow and work immediately. Guys. If you're sceptical I promise Joel's methods work if you follow them correctly. My reactive rescue dog met another dog today and they sniffed each other for a few moments before backing off and then minding their own business. Massive achievement for us and a big step on our journey together.

We spent three years trying to leash train our lab. Nothing had ever worked. At one point she had to live with my parents because I couldn’t safely take her out potty with our newborn. After watching one of your videos and doing exactly as described, she is like a new dog! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
All day baby :) dude I just tried this with my 6y/o German Sheppard Lab. Couldn’t believe how fast it changed his behavior. He clued in right away and we had the best walk we’ve ever had. Thanks Beckman, you’re the best
I live out in the country and walk on back rural roads. From the day I got him I taught him the command "SIDE." We're on a leash because we're on the road and he is a Husky, but after 6 years I don't have to say a word. If he hears a car coming, long before he sees it he's on the side of the road and stopped without the need for a command until the vehicle passes by.

No matter how well trained, off lead, around traffic, is a recipe for disaster. Bad things can happen way to fast.

I use to do this with my dog but this is EXTREMELY dangerous,if a parent or friend comes home it could run off.

Tried with my girl (7 mo cockapoo) first time today, she’s doing sooooooo well!
I love this method. I am currently using this on my 1 year old pitbull. Our walks are so much calmer now.
