  • In this video, Varun from Hammer Missions will walk you through a complete end-to-end guide for #drone #solar #inspections!
Conducting a thorough solar survey using drones requires investments in proper tooling and well-oiled workflows. In this video, we're going to look at how you can use software tools to create an end-to-end automated solar park capture and processing workflow using commercial drones and mission-critical software, using both visual and thermal cameras.

Would love to start using Hammer Missions for my solar farm inspections. I use Autel UAV’s. Can we expect they will be used in your platform anytime soon?

Yes! We are planning to integrate Autel drones by Q1 of 2024. It could be sooner but Q1 2024 is definitive target at the moment.

@@HammerMissions Super! And does it follow IEC TS 62446-3:2017 standards for aerial thermography? Im planning to use Hammer for solar panel inspections.

I’m just here to see how to cost an inspection, does it cover that?

Has potential for use as an overview map of site and as an orientation of where anomalies and faults may reside, but it should be made extremely clear that this is by no means a solar inspection or a solar inspection report! You really need to make this clear as you are misleading users as there is no compliance with IEC standards. What I would advise is that the site data set is first analysed in proper thermographic software that will calibrate the thermograms with emissivity and TRef values and of course anomaly/fault temperature values BEFORE bringing into hammer where I can see it being useful to create the overview and fault location/orientation.

@@pioneerdroneoperations I use FLIR Thermal Studio… not really a lot of choice for thermal analysis software.
