Diana, Princess of Wales celebrated her 36th birthday in style on Tuesday (1/7) at a gala dinner to commemorate the centenary of Britain's foremost modern art gallery, the Tate which was founded and given to the nation by Victorian sugar merchant Henry Tate, was opened on July 21, 1897 -- by the then Prince and Princess of Wales.

I can't figure out what Charles could not see in Diana that he saw in Camilla. Diana the most beautiful princess ever even in fairy tales we miss her
you fall in love with “who you fall in love with”. nothing else really matters in the “love” category. Camilla could do no wrong in Charles’ eyes. He didn’t care about Diana at all...it was all about an heir and good breeding...also the fact that Diana was young, a perfect specimen and a mother for their children. the fact that Camilla was married was a serious strike again her.
Although he cheated with camilla. Never ended his affair. I must agree with other commenter Nancy Meyhoefer, you love who you love in life, and can't help who u fall in love with. It only need make sense to _your_ heart.
The marriage should never have been. He asked if he could marry camilla prior to her marriage to her husband, was told no, she wasn't queen material, now she suddenly is ok to be Queen, makes no sense there.
In any case, sad as it all was, it was what it was , is what it is. We can't change the past. I wish she had someone, anyone that truly loved her, anyone outside Charles used her, wrote books, told press about it, using, and hurting her. Dodi was exploiting her for fame connection with the rf, or his dad was. Everyone she ever tried to trust hurt her in the end. Even her family. Asked to return to Althorp. Was told no by her brother, not wanted media problems on a huge estate with gates and guards, plus her own security, but is happy to have let the island she's buried on, grow up in weeds, only recently fixing it, and selling signed copies of the eulogy, yet going around saying he was the only one who cared. Poor woman. So much love to give, no one could give it back as she deserved.

Such a genuine warm and caring person, was our Diana. She gravitated to that child immediately.
Queen Elizabeth made a serious miscalculation. Diana was the best brand ambassador for Britain, surpassing even the Queen for popularity. Her death was a blow to the Monarchy. Charles did not deserve her and she deserved much better than him.

Many probably don’t know this, but this particular day was also her birthday (the dress she’s wearing was given to her that day as a present). Instead of celebrating she instead chose to go out to a charity event! Wow Princess Diana was truly something special❤️

So amazing with all the turmoil behind the public eye, you can never tell her misery inside, she put on a brave face _for_ the rf, that hated her so. Destroyed any shred of her existance after her death, saying she wasn't royal so they could. Imagine the boys would have liked to kept her kp apartment intact, where they enjoyed spending time with her so much. Was gutted, redone into Charles study shortly after. With not a shred of her memory left. Awful way to treat someone that made them real again. Attainable, loved. Human. No wonder she said to the one "after all I did for this fn family" its the truth. If only she knew her entire existence 😪 would be erased from them, besides the boys.

Before a brit whines no insult intended i realize her hrh was cruelly taken out of spite by Charles, as part of divorce agreement. I said it to make a point, it never should have been. Divorce or not, she's a future kings mother, and grandmother, that deserves, requires an hrh. She may be alive if she had one that fateful night.

On this evening we see Diana wearing the Cambridge emerald choker which she made famous by wearing it across her forehead in Australia. It was a lifetime loan. I find it surprising that she was made to return items to the crown upon the divorce like the Cambridge Lovers Knot tiara BUT they let her carry on with other items like this.

Maybe just that that she continued to behavier in some way like princess of British Royal House, however it wasnt her fault that whole world adored her but it wasnt good for her. The Court probably wanted her to live more in shadow and be with her kids.All was bad for her. She was suffering deeply for divorce....
