Pianos, luxury yachts and sausages are probably not what you think of when you imagine your favorite car brand, but these are just some of the products we’ll be discussing on today’s episode. Some car companies collaborate to create products outside of their wheelhouse, while others were making unexpected products before they even started building cars. Great, now I’m hungry.
WheelHouse answers all the questions about the automotive world you never thought to ask. Nolan Sykes looks at the history, sociology and psychology behind the cars you love, and the features you might overlook.
Some of our best videos ever are coming out soon, stay tuned so you won't miss a thing!

@@ldmtag They did, actually... Well, sort of..
They were developing a supercar called the OX99-11 (i know.. very catchy) in the 90s.
It was planned to use a V12 derived from their F1 engine (yes, they were involved in F1 providing engines for a few years to the likes of Zakspeed, Arrows, & Brabham -albeit unsuccessful-) and three cars were made, two for testing and one for press launch. Things went downhill with over-budget problem and Japan's bubble economy ended with a recession.
A couple years ago, they unveiled a concept sports car called "Sports Ride Concept" at Tokyo Auto Show. No following news after that.

Bmws logo is actually the bavarian flag, the prop is just a myth^^
I'm the 20th like! It looks like a prop.
Yes, I'm happy too someone made the claim :)! Hope I didn't make misinformation, the colors correspond to an inversed version of the bavarian flag, because the Bavarian State law didn't alllow to use for a company the original emblem of state. The form is probably an heritage of the previous company "Rapp", before this company was rebuild into the new BMW company during the early XX century. The logo in fact was a horse-head in a circle with the name in the perimeter of the circle. Less impressive maybe for the majority, but i still prefer the more near-real version, as it's offen difficult to status on past event the today's common truth to the initials fact.
@@rominou684 those are actually the colours of the bavarian flag, not the inverse. If there is any truth to this than maybe its the shape, the real flag has rhombi and multiple of them. It might just be squares for it to look better, idk.
Edit: You were actually correct, becausethe bavarian logo has a lottle white spec in the top left :D
I recently went to the Zenith Museum where they make the X models in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and took the factory tour where the tour guide said the prop was a myth and it was the Bavarian flag, good research man!

The ventilators produced by GM and Ventec Life Systems (Seattle) is especially interesting because of how GM retooled their Kokomo plant (Indiana) and went from producing 0 to 10k (fully featured) ventilators in less than a month, including having all the build and automated test stand equipment built and installed by a medical device manufacturing company in Houston, and hiring and training an entire staff to build the devices and operate the test equipment.
