What cool effects are you planning to do with this tool?
Oh man I was using it completely wrong. Thanks for the quick tutorial. It'll speed up my output considerably.
I already used Glaxnimate for a Mask effect. I layered a moving almost living/flexing graphic novel effect over a simple black and white Lut. Came out real nice.
Shows you the power of the software, but it took forever cause I had no idea what I was doing.
Great video! Clear and straight to the point. Keep them up!
I thought motion tracking was the software identifying points to stay relative to not hand/manual stop motion style tracking. At this rate I might be tempted to use Blender lol
Yeah that's the process for now. There are other forms of tracking. Such as Point tracking. But Shotcut has released a new filter for true Motion Tracking so a video should be coming out soon!
@@EJTech.Wait, shotcut added Motion Tracking??
Yep the video is out now!
@@EJTech. I just watched it, thanks! :D
Hey! ive always wanted to do this! Thanks!
YOU'RE AMAZING!
Very helpful and instructive vid, thanks man!
Happy to help!
Very useful, thanks!
Thank you!!!!!!! i didnt know that was a thing
Happy to help!
Hey EJ great video.
But i have an trouble adding an video clip on glaximate to track my other clip can you help me?
Excellent.
Great, thanks.
Awesome!😍
That's manual keyframing which can be done by shotcuts keyframes, no need for glaxanimation.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!
No problem! But if you want to learn a even better way to do it… tune in for tomorrow’s video! 👀
what do you do when you go to track some think in the video like a car that is passing like some think like that how u do that
Nice video! But I had a problem, the animations do not appear when I export the video. Any ideia what it could be?
What if I need to motion track a sized down clip from another video
You dont need glaxnimate to keyframe image. You can do it directly inside shotcut by using position filter and keyframe it and this is not motion tracking . In motion tracking tracker placed on spot tracks its motion automatically and then move tracker accordingly.
lol I know this was extremely disappointing and at the same time laughable
I am totally aware of this. The point of this video was to show-case the abilities of Glaxnimate. Also motion tracking and tracking using keyframes are essentially the same process in Shotcut. I only chose the best title for SEO.
@@EJTech. That's cool. I only found it funny because you went into the same mega tedious process that I was trying to avoid.
Oh yea, that's just the downside to the process. I was actually trying to respond to the other comment. But hopefully Shotcut comes up with another way to make it easier.
wow thanks
that also can be done in shotcut. why to open glaxnimate
can i do the same thing but to a clip?
Seems like it would be less work to just print the logo on a piece of card stock and actually hold the physical item. Would be smoother too.
LMAO
why does the logo remind me of adobe product great vid :)
Thanks! I may or may not have taken some inspiration ;)
This is manuel tracking and you could have done it with Shotcut even before they incorporated Glaxnimate. Just use Size, Position&Rotate filter and keyframe it.
How can i motion track with zoom?
I can't seem to find Glaxnimate animation in the "Open Other" tab. Is there something I am missing?
Do you have the latest version of Shotcut?
@@EJTech. Oh lord thank you for reminding me I completely forgot to update my shotcut, its been like a year in a half since I have
I want to know on short cut not on another program
Hi, I want to shoot and color grade indoor videos where I'll talk about minimalism, want to show my skin orange and more blue in background, also I want to know how to add custom transitions in easy as possible, As a complete beginner in video editing(shotcut) I found your videos helpful as they're short and simple, It would be a great help if you could upload a short tutorial on this.
I have 2 tutorials that talk about color grading and how to use these certain tools. There not a direct tutorial, but they showcase the same tools.

These should help you get started, while I work on an updated version!
@@EJTech. Thank you so much, this will help me to get familiar on using that feature and setting
oh wow, is there no auto point tracking in shotcut like in other tools?
ah ...there is a newer video? Have to search for that
in Shotcut Version 23.xx comes real Motion rracking. Hope you Make new video rhan
Definitely!
How do i use Motion array on shotcut?
You can find assets on the site that you can download. Like Animated Backgrounds, music, sfx, stock footage and simply import them to Shotcut. However, it doesn't have any templates for Shotcut to edit like title animations. For that you would have to be using DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or Premiere Pro.
I expected motion tracking, not stop-motion animation =/
Yeah that's the process for now. However they did add a new filter which makes the process easier. A video on that should be coming soon!
That takes ages
That’s not motion tracking you dip bait
Actually it is a form of motion tracking. If you we’re looking for another type such as Point tracking I'm currently working on a video for that.
