I don't think he's league material. Not tryna to hate he's a bucket but he'll already be 24 by the end of this year and isn't the most physically gifted guard. On top of that, he only shooting 24% from 3 which isn't great. Not saying it isn't possible but it'll just be tough. Even if he does make the league idk how'll long he'll be in it for.

I never cared for his attitude. Think about it. He could drive a car to his 14u aau games and dominate like he did something? This man is a couple of years older than Jalen Smith, Talen Horton Tucker, Tyrese Maxey, and Bones Hyland? Yet, he’s only a junior in college? Really? All of those kids except Hyland have been in the NBA for at least 2 years!

I just read this guy was born in ‘98. My son was born in ‘00, and played against him in AAU ball for years. Technically at 14u, he could drive to the damn tournaments. I always thought he was a step quicker, a little bit stronger. Turns out when he was playing 13u/14u, he was 15/16?😳 This is why defensively he’s been exposed. Where’s the value in scoring 20 points if the person you are trying to defend scores 21?
The nba isn’t stupid. At his age he should be dominating on both ends of the floor. I’m telling you he was a terror on the aau circuit. Now I know why😡

Cut the BS, he won the way he did in HS because he was surrounded by players like Luther Mohammed (Ohio State, U of Arizona), Naz Reid (LSU, NBA), Louis King (U of Oregon) et al. You are missing the point. With all of his achievements in high school, why wasn’t he a one and done at Nova, after that BS at Arizona? On the circuit, I didn’t like the way they played against kids 2 years his Junior was b/c he was a ringer. 2 years is a big difference in the development of boys. Stop trying to put lipstick on a pig and evaluate his talent against his age appropriate peers. Let’s see what he does against the likes of at THT (who’s still younger than him). Let him bust their a**’s and I’ll buy billboard space on i95 and apologize.

@@sumbleach9755 Not mad at all, just stating fact. In fact at 14U, my son started in the backcourt with IQ (Knicks) for a Nike sponsored team out of bmore. That year they played in 12 tournaments from Boston to Florida. They won 8 chips, and finished 2nd 4 times. I never said we didn’t compete, we just competed with age appropriate kids from bmore. If you gonna play down multiple age groups, just play ball and and stay low key with it. The reason why I remember this kid so vividly, we met his team in the semis at a national AAU tourney in Orlando. The game was stopped 6x’s with our kids rolling around on the floor having been hit in the groin! 6X’s! Bmore had such a reputation for going from 0-100 fast, we were conscious of that. However, had it happened one more time their coach and every male tied to them was about to go through something. I cannot begin to describe the rage that was welling up in the parents/spectators. The venue security stopped 8 parents from approaching their coach in the restroom, b/c they thought the kids were being intentionally dirty, b/c we just beat them in another tourney b4 coming to the ESPN zone. During the game, my son hit 6, 3-pt baskets @13 playing up and told me in the car after the game he too was hit in the groin while shooting. I was so mad I turned the car around and went back to the venue, hoping to see the kid’s father or male figure connected to him. Here’s the thing, we traveled everywhere and played, win/lose/draw from NY through NJ, EVERYWHERE. Those teams JQ played for NEVER came to bmore and played. With all due respect, PG CTY, Md is NOT Bmore. With all their moxy not once did they come here to play.
