God bless. - Sport
Damn I miss Kobe. Every young player in the league today lost that day, they lost a father figure, a grandfather figure, a role model, a man that probably wasn't even halfway into his professional life, we were all robbed of watching what Kobe might've become.
Well said.🐍🕊️
Kobe was assassinated.
@@DakotaScroggins I believe that with every fiber of my being
he bought a helicopter from a sporting goods store
#kobebryant he was from Pennsylvania and he bought a helicopter from a pennsylvanian sporting goods store #nba
Kobe said “we lost” in ‘04 and he wasn’t even on the team. He took USA losing personally
A different type of pride!!
None of that blm, anti American garbage some of his teammates fell into.
LeBron in his own mind. " Who loss? I Didn't lose? Ya'll loss".
@DOLLAMAC190 alright come on bron wouldnt say that this is his 4th olympics for a reason
Hes a American, its we for all Americans.
Basketball isn’t the same without Kobe.. he really was a gift and inspiration to all hoopers
Agreed!🐍🕊️
I don’t even watch the game on tv anymore, remember when I used to rush home to watch Kobe me n my father loved Kobe I’ll come home to my pops watching the game waiting an knowing it’s me knocking the door, will ask him right away if I’ve missed anything an how’s Kobe doing. 💔 😢 Mann when we lost Kobe I got the news waking up from sleep. Ain’t get off my bed 🛌 that whole day. Miss you Kobe 🙏🤲🙏
💯% agreed with this statement. NBA after Kobe is simply softer and easier to play like high school game.
Realized very soon after he retired that I actually wasn’t a huge nba fun but just a Kobe fan. Doesn’t hit the same
@@twincities60I can relate to this. For real.
I love how he said “we lost in 2004” and wasn’t even on the team. Real leader
But it felt out of place
Great example!
Gawd you American's have such a low bar to represent your country. Don't even have to see it as your country apparently. Apparently someone who does that is a 'leader' smdh..
Duncan and Iverson aren't real leaders?
@@wilez3219 when did I say that?
He did this & then went back-to-back in the NBA Finals!! 😤😤😤

It hurts to see Kobe Bryant that he doesn't exist anymore, he had him all his life ahead of him
Kobe’s legacy lives on through the stories we share🐍🕊️
@@TriceOfficialYes but I don't like to see videos about him after his death it hurts me 😢😢
😢
I'm hurting, I feel like Kobe never existed😢😢😢
What hurts more is Gigi. Imagine her being the next Kobe of the wnba. I would actually follow her career.
I still think that Kobe basically created the 2003 class we know today. They found a gear that they didn't know existed. They learned what it took. After 2008, they became professionals. Taking the game seriously and working hard became not only cool, but expected when shooting for the top spot.
Really dope perspective!
He basically showed them what it takes to become winners. Almost everyone in that roster became title contenders and champions (except for a few but that was because of injury ending careers)
I hate it when everyone says Kobe only won the first three because of Shaq, not entirely true because Kobe was scoring 25-30 alongside Shaq.
I like to think of it this way, without either their three peat would never happen.
I agree. LeBron won MVP, Wade was great and first team all NBA, and Melo went to the WCF the very next year.
@@thesenate5913Bro I swear my brain couldn’t compute the last sentence of your second paragraph lol. I was like „tf is this dude on, it’s called career-ending injuries!!1!!“ 😂 I swear sometimes one is so used to certain idioms being used unanimously in certain situations & any deviations from that just make no sense until you just look at the sentence for what it is
Time has wings. I remember that 2008 summer and how bummed I was after the Lakers lost to the Celtics. It was great that I didn’t have to wait long to watch Kobe play again and experience a victory. 2006-2010 Kobe won 2 scoring titles in a row, MVP, Olympic Gold while being the best player, and back 2 back championships with Finals MVPs. Proud to have witnessed that run.
Man, Kobe is one of the greatest players of Team USA of all damn time 🇺🇸

Agreed.
I love Kobe for one reason and one reason only. And it’s the same for Michael Jordan. It’s because they hated to lose more than they like to win. there’s way too many people playing professional sports that don’t think that way. And even more than only care about the money.
You obviously know nothing about Kobe nor MJ because both are/were selfish, greedy and arrogant

Kobe > LeBron EASILY. Kobe taught Bron, Wade, Melo etc how to really work. His work ethic was contagious.
Why even make it about that ...just appreciate both talents
I’ve always said that
Yeah obviously despite Lebron's alienlike talent, Kobe's mindset is what separates him a little bit. Some people like Lebron are JUST NOT natural leaders. Kobe is a natural monster and the only player in the league that reminds of Kobe is Luka.

Your voice is cool and that soundtrack you use is the bomb bro it's trippi of an effect. I just saw the Caitlin Clark video a week or so ago. Watched it twice and play listed. I watched the Farewell tour Bean Bryant a few times and recently saw it again a few times. You have some of the best Kobe documentaries I've seen. It all started at the 2002 Indianapolis World Championship, playing at home but unfortunately in an empty arena, showing that the public didn't support their team much.
Even though it may be forgotten now, there were great players and NBA champions there, like Ben Wallace, Paul Pierce, Reggie Miller, Michael Finley, Jermaine O'Neal, and Andre Miller.
The United States lost no less than three games in the tournament, having previously won all their international matches since '92 with NBA stars.
Something I just realized watching this is Jordan & Kobe played & saved the Olympic team after losing. Interesting

Kobe didn’t play “alongside” Shaq for his first 3 rings. He averaged 1ppg less than Shaq during their 4 playoff runs together that resulted in finals appearances. He led the ENTIRE LEAGUE in 4th quarter & clutch time scoring. Led his team in assists, & was the best perimeter defender in the world making 1st team all defense. Shaq needed Kobe more than Kobe needed Shaq. Period.
Playing “alongside” doesn’t mean “carried by”…literally just means they played on the same together and both contributed to success. Nowhere in that statement is it even inferred that Kobe was less than Shaq.
during team meeting, kobe said “defense is the key, i will lead that role”
in contrast, lebron said “ i play with all these great players, what excuse do i have?”
it just shows their personalities and style. lebron always looks for helps.
It's very obvious that you know nothing about neither

Kobe was a menace also so intelligent. Such a legacy he produced for the sport
Kobe Bean Bryant: A High School prospect that became the last 3 Peat NBA Champion of his Lakers Team that he chose to go to as a High School player pre draft and then became an Olympic Gold Medalist and then won Back-to-Back championships to become a 5x NBA Champion. He was drafted out of High School as the first ever Shooting Guard into the NBA in 1996. He didn’t have Michael Jordan’s path. He had his own unique and specific path to the greatest of all-time. He fulfilled his path as a High School draft pick. How many draft picks do you know have won 5 Championships? It doesn’t matter that he played with Shaquille O’Neil because Kobe Bryant’s number show he was equal to O’Neil. The NBA have their only NBA All-Star Co-MVP with Kobe and Shaq but the NBA Finals chosen for Shaq. That is a funny thing to notice. Kobe in his early years during his three peat was equal to Shaq. Shaq just never had competition in the NBA Finals. Kobe was the best player in the world form 2000-2013. He could’ve been a 10x NBA MVP and 5x NBA Finals MVP but the NBA conspired against him. 1st Finals Jalen Rose injured him in Game 1. 2nd and 3rd he was robbed of FMVP. 2000-2013 he was robbed of MVP by the NBA “MEDIA” because they were unsure of Kobe.
You wrote a bunch of bullish. Those where shaq 3peat teams.
