- Mohamed Kallon, born 6 October 1979 in Kenema (Sierra Leone). 126 games and 39 goals in Serie A, playing as forward with Bologna, Cagliari, Reggina, Vicenza and Inter. From 1997 to 2004 he played 7 Serie A seasons.
With his national team he played 35 international games (1995-2012), scoring 14 goals. He is widely considered the most famous footballer from Sierra Leone.

Too bad he was born in a country where the government make no investment in sports and no respect for sport. The whole country has only one Sport stadium which is so over used. One Football stadium use for the local football league and for international games and that stadium was built in the 80s by the Chines, go figure!
