Acceleration analysis of a slider crank mechanism(Graphical method)

- In this video, a problem from the book Theory of machine by R S Khurmi is solved to explain the method of drawing an acceleration diagram of a slider-crank mechanism. For drawing an acceleration diagram you have to draw a configuration and velocity diagram first. Therefore a method to draw these diagrams is also explained (for learning to draw only velocity diagrams you can watch other videos provided in the link). It is best to use a mini drafter for drawing these diagrams. If you feel difficulty in using a mini drafter you can take the right-angled scale of the drafter out and use it. You can also use set squares or roller scales for drawing parallel and perpendicular lines.
